  • Some special moments amongst a vast sea of ordinary.

    9.0
This show is good, and we had a few shining moments.

Crime: was actually rather boring, despite a promising premise. On top of the poor acting of the main baddies, the young actress was simply not convincing as a "daddy's girl" – and the writers obviously rushed that storyline when explaining her reaction to the police.

Zen on apples: worms are protein!

Main story: Crewes and the rescued girl have an interesting chemistry, and how he and his wife reacted after that was interesting. Why they still have her around is beyond comprehension. For all his Zen, he cannot give her up so easily. Understandable for an ordinary person, but not for a man on the way to enlightenment. Glad she reacted the way she did, which leads us to:

New car: Crewes: "Only an object". Me: lol. Hell yes, this beauty is *much* better than the previous one. And the way they "pimp" his ride is one of my favourite aspects of this show.

Ted: Good decision. Writers prevented it being all too predictable if he had ratted out. And besides - he is a great support character.

The lieutenant: carrying on in top form. Good to see him spell things out to our team in hilarious fashion. And then trying to get into the preparation room with the wire!

Reese Jr: hints of actual acting appeared to surface when trying to prove she is not uptight. Both kids *and* viewers are notoriously hard to fool with poor performances. Moving in the right direction to catch up with the rest of the awesome support actors - finally!

Reese Sr: lol. Glad the pulling over antics have progressed to more meaningful ends for Crewes. Nice touch at the very end, as he tunes in.

Overall – nice, but nothing special after the brilliant previous episode.moreless
  • Crews and his ex-wife make out !?! and Jack goes to Ted .. oh boy

    10
Crews makes out with his ex-wife after he ask her to talk to Rachel. Oh boy that was hot. I really wished at that moment that she wasn't married.

When Jack ask Ted about Crews and what he knows that was kinda scary. Jack Reese has just a way to scare peopel. I'm just glad that Ted told Crews I really first thought he wouldn't because he looked so afraid after what Jack said to him.

I liked the end of the epsiode when Crews pulled Jack Reese over. "Oh don't talk to Ted anymore. You make him nervouse for some reason." Wonder what device he planed on Jacks car. I mean that he would make a phone call after Crews pulled him over was no suprise just wondering who the hell he called at all.

Rachel is not talking. Why is that agin? I so wanna know what is up with her.

And what did Kyle meant when he said to Crews he needs to stay away from Rachel? I just hope we get some answers. FAST.moreless
  • good episode

    8.0
Crews and Reese investigate the murder of a father that is found beaten in a chair. The murder connects to a group of rich kids led by a smarter rich kid... basically, it was the leader, then the strong guy, joker, and pretty lady. The story wasn't that interesting to me in this episode. It was classic cops trying to take down the big fish through the little fish, yadda yadda. Reese's father came in this episode and it'll be interesting to see how he shakes things up. Crews finally got another car - yay! Overall, another solid character episode but not an good story/case.moreless

  • TRIVIA (2)

    • Goof: On the info sheets put up on the police board, the DOB, height, weight, etc. of the three guys and the girl are all exactly the same. Unlikely they were all born on 01-11-1990, are all 5'10", all weigh 155 lbs and are ALL male ;-) ... A little bit more effort would have been nice!

    • The new car that Det. Crews has, is Maserati Quattroporte V with plates number: 4PCI380

  • QUOTES (3)

    • Charlie Crews:(Driving his new Maseratti Cop Car) This Car, just an object. Objects have no meaning. They don't. Don't.
      (Pulls over Jack Reese)
Jack Reese:You're a nut job, you know that Crews. Whats with THAT car?
Charlie Crews:It's just an object. Doesn't have any meaning. Even if it did, it would be in Italian, so I wouldn't understand it anyway.

    • Captain Tidwell: Why won't you bring any of these kids in for questioning?
      Det. Crews: On what charge?
Captain Tidwell: You guys don't plant evidence around here?

    • Charlie Crews: (speaking to a suspect's therapist) I do say everything that pops into my head! Maybe I should come back. If I want to make an appointment, who should I call?
Dr. James: You should call another doctor.
