NBC managed to announce a portion of their schedule earlier today without announcing any cancellations. However, immediately after their presentation some of the dirty laundry came out--and it means Life will not go on.
For the week of February 17-February 21: The holiday-shortened week means less days to catch up on great television! On the smaller screen, TV.com has interviews with American Idol's Top 36!
We're almost halfway there! In this batch we represent Life, wonder about Fringe, and reveal our second Lost-related entry.
For fans of female-powered dramas, the hoopla surrounding NBC's Lipstick Jungle took a turn for the worse today. The network announced its January schedule, and there's no sign of Lipstick Jungle or Crusoe (more on that in a minute).
Things may not be hunky-dory at NBC, which is seeing many of its shows disappoint in the ratings department despite loads of promotion (I'm looking at you, Knight Rider!). NBC's schedule hasn't exactly made a whole lot of sense this year, and it's only taken the network until the end of October to realize it. Changes are afoot at the Peacock, and the big winner of the newly reconfigured NBC schedule is the underappreciated Life; the big loser is the underperforming Lipstick Jungle.
