Charlie gets even and gets Ted Early out of Prison.

Charlie has selective memory loss about who shot him. It is 8 weeks after Charlie was shot and he is back on duty. The main story is that of a former NASA pilot named Bill Ellis who is shot mid-flight in his plane. The murder is committed because of greed. Bill Ellis is about to go back into space for 35 million dollars with the Russians and is selling the company he built for 30 million to go. When all is said and done, it is the business partner Nick Breem who kill him. Nick was to be the owner of the company if Bill died and if he sold it to go into space Nick would get nothing. Good motive for murder. Another character that was under suspicion was a adrenalin junkie named Evan Tucker. According to Evan's wife, with Bill Ellis and he were climbing K2 the year before, Evan lost his footing and started to fall and Bill cut the line and he fell several hundred feet and lived but was not the same man. When the questioned Evan about it, he told them that he begged Bill Ellis to cut the line and when he did he saw the face of God.

The minor plot was Charlie getting even with who shot him and getting Ted Earley out of prison. He knew that Agent Bodner had shot him but told everyone that he had a blank in his memory and did not remember. He finally goes into Agent Bodner's apartment and shoots him in the leg. Charlie had used the same bullet that Bodner shot him with to make a bullet to shoot Bodner with. He tells Bodner to make the call to get Ted Earley out of Prison.

This was an outstanding episode I do not know why the network cancelled this show. It is one of the better cop shows on TV.moreless

"Superb"

Our first episode back form hiatus and it is good! Charlie is up to his usual off the clock antics tracking down the guy who shot him. In my opinion his antics are what make the show and in this case it was important. We learn that maybe Charlie can get his troubling FBI agent to switch sides. We also have a good story about Ted in Jail. I love that Ted is teaching his fellow inmates about financial planning. Its great. Also, I like how the writers are handling the Tidwell/Reese relationship. Not to soapy or to much of a main focus. Overall, another great episode!moreless

It was nice to see Life come back this week after a long break. Charlie was shot right at the end of the last episode and the cliffhanger was nicely resolved in the opening scenes. I liked the way he requested the bullet he had been shot with and then re-made it so he could shoot Special Agent Barton. There were less humourous scenes than in the previous few episodes, particularly with Dani and Tidwell. The death of the former NASA man was neatly handled throughout and I liked the model airplane enthusiasts. So all in all, not a bad re-entry for Life.moreless
