Lights Leary and his wife Theresa, are once again at odds. She is concerned about their ever worsening financial situation. Lights starts to feel the ever deepening effects of his dementia.

This was a powerful episode - it blew me away.

We learn a little more about Robert Leary(Pops); and how/why his career was cut short. We see how much Lights admires and depends upon him. And finally, Lights sees Johnny for what he is, a selfish and manipulative force, with no place in the lives of the family. In this episode, Lights makes the decision we knew would come, i.e., he would have to get back into the ring. He hopes for, and actually books a fight with a former sparring partner, someone he knows won't hurt him too much. Mistrusting Barry Word, he turns to Hal Brennan for help. But things turn sinister - the fight has to be canceled, and a new one set up. This continues to be an excellent program - hopefully more people will watch.moreless
