If you didn't notice this weekend, Toon Disney desecrated the end credits to the movie "Leroy & Stitch" by popping up a promo for an upcoming program- albeit a promo for tonight's new episode of "Yin Yang Yo!"- while doing a tailored fast-forwarded end credit sequence that deleted the famed Experiment list found on those end credits and cut off a legendary Elvis Presley hit single that was part of the end credit music! Another end credit sequence desecrated by Toon Disney, just like what they have done to the end credits of "Lilo & Stitch: The First Movie" and "The Emperor's New Groove" on their late afternoon and weekend morning airings!

But that's not all! Toon Disney uses inferior 'rolling' end credits on their broadcasts of "Lilo & Stitch: The Series" among selected shows just to feature a worthless pull-down blind that hypes other programming scheduled on the network!

And there are those periods during the series and movies where Toon Disney pushes up the screen to do a lower-screen promo for upcoming programming as well!

Apparently, Toon Disney would rather hype other programming than give the viewers the shows the way they should be airing them according to the viewers!

TOON DISNEY UPDATE [November 11, 2008]:

As of last night, Jetix programming was labeled with the Toon Disney transparent logo. Which means that, though there are still bumpers and IDs promoting Jetix, the lineup is now under the Toon Disney banner.

I knew "Yin Yang Yo!" would finally be labeled under the Toon Disney logo, but you have all the other Jetix shows now featuring the Toon Disney label as well. So technically, Jetix is being phased out sooner than expected, which is a good thing. Well, the Jetix label anyway. The full phase-out of Jetix won't occur until Toon Disney is rebranded as Disney XD on February 17, 2009.

And you know what? Toon Disney could do something really fabulous! Perhaps some night before the rebranding, the network could, after a 90-minute prime-time movie (as long as the end credits are rolling at their correct speed and unaltered), decide to run an episode of "Lilo & Stitch: The Series". After all, next week, one of their prime-time movie airings will be followed by an episode of "American Dragon Jake Long". So how about a "Lilo & Stitch" episode at 10:30 PM, since Jetix is being phased out, starting with the label? It would be a big ratings boost for the network!

TOON DISNEY "LILO & STITCH: THE SERIES" 'SUPER STACK' UPDATE {December 16, 2008}:

Toon Disney is giving viewers a very special Christmas gift on Christmas Eve: A 'Super Stack' of "Lilo & Stitch: The Series" starting at 2:00 PM. Episodes featured in this 'Super Stack' include "The Asteroid", "Phantasmo","Sprout", and "Clip".

Also on Toon Disney that night, at 6:30 PM will be the final airing under the Toon Disney label of the Christmas Episode "Topper".

It's Toon Disney's way of saying "Mele Kalikimaka" to its loyal fans of the show.

Looking ahead in the Toon Disney "Lilo & Sttich: The Series" scheduling, there is a single episode Saturday, December 27 followed by a 'Super Stack' of "American Dragon Jake Long"! That doesn't make sense at all! It's totally wrong!!

However, if Toon Disney sets things up right, there should be a 'Super Stack' of "Lilo & Stitch: The Series" on a Weekday afternoon during New Years' Week, then a genuine 'Super Stack' the first Weekend of 2009, leading to what should hopefully be an airing of the movie "Leroy & Stitch" followed by the legendary "Angel" episode on January 5- Angel's Global Anniversary date! Toon Disney could be the U.S. representative for the global celebration of Angel's 5th Anniversary of her TV debut if everything goes as planned. Cross your fingers. Or paws if you're one of the famed Experiments!

Well, it looks like Toon Disney has become an Ebenezer Scrooge McDuck for Christmas Eve! Because Toon Disney revamped their Weekday afternoon schedule and not only expanded, but also moved up that lousy live-action piece of blitzgork known as "The Suite Life of Zack and Cody" an hour, tomorrow's "Lilo & Stitch: The Series" 'Super Stack' has been cut to just one hour! Which means the only episodes airing will be "The Asteroid" and "Phantasmo"! The other episodes have been moved to later in the schedule! Meaning "Sprout" will now be the lone ep airing Saturday morning before that stupidly set up 'Super Stack' of "American Dragon Jake Long"!

And the only way Toon Disney can set things up so the network can celebrate Angel's Anniversary on January 5 would be to have "Lilo & Stitch" hours Monday through Wednesday next week, then have a Weekend 'Super Stack' the first weekend of the year, leading up to "Angel" the early evening of January 5. It's the only way it can work.

At least "Topper" will still air tomorrow night at 6:30 PM.

Mele kalikimaka! Or Meri kurisumasu, depending on the "Stitch" franchise series represented.

TOON DISNEY "LILO & STITCH: THE SERIES" SCHEDULE UPDATE [December 31, 2008]:

At this time, Toon Disney has a 'Super Stack' scheduled for Sunday at 11:00 AM. However, the episode lineup is mixed: "Cannonball,""The Asteroid,""Amnesio,""Yaarp,""Slushy," and "Melty" are the eps scheduled to air.

Sadly, however, the big Global Celebration of Angel's Anniversary is going to be without U.S. representation. Toon Disney is NOT airing Angel's legendary episode on Monday, as hoped for. The episode is airing on Toon Disney the following week!

TOON DISNEY "LILO & STITCH: THE SERIES SCHEDULE UPDATE [January 6, 2009]:

The latest "Lilo & Stitch: The Series" 'Super Stack' airs on Toon Disney Next Tuesday at 2:00 PM. And it's a 'Super Stack' you can't miss! Though the block begins with "Tank", then jumps ahead to "627" and "Sinker", it's the last ep in the lineup that's a must-watch: Angel's legendary starring masterpiece episode has its first broadcast on Toon Disney since July 31, 2008! And, it could be the last broadcast under the Toon Disney label prior to the "Lilo & Stitch: The Series" All Weekend Long Toon Disney Farewell Marathon coming the weekend of February 13 for "Angel"- and all the eps in this 'Super Stack' for that matter.

Unless Angel's starring episode plans to air after a forthcoming broadcast of the movie "Leroy & Stitch" yet to be scheduled. Keep watching the board for updates on "LILO & STITCH: THE SERIES" airings on Toon Disney before the network fades to black and re-emerges as Disney XD.

Next Scheduled "Lilo & Stitch: The Series" "Super Stack" on Toon Disney: Next Thursday starting at 2:00 PM

It will be another airing of the "Lilo's Loco Luau" Guest Star 'Super Stack', starting with "Lax" (guest starring the kids from "Recess"), followed by "Rufus" (guest starring Kim Possible), then "Morpholomew" (guest starring the original design American Dragon Jake Long), and finally "Spats" (guest starring the Proud Family).

Note that this will be the last planned Guest Star 'Super Stack' under the Toon Disney label. We have to wait to find out if "Lilo & Stitch: The Series" will be featured in the Disney XD schedule, while having to hope for a special Toon Disney farewell block of the movie "Leroy & Stitch" followed by all three episodes Angel appears in before the launch of Disney XD the night of February 12.

Disney XD will launch at 12:00 Midnight when it becomes February 13!

UPCOMING TOON DISNEY BROADCASTS OF "LILO & STITCH" MOVIES:

    "Leroy & Stitch"- Tuesday 5:00 PM and 9:00 PM/ February 12 5:00 PM and 9:00 PM

Watch during the Big Battle when Stitch is threatened by some of the Leroy clones. Angel jumps in and uses her martial arts talent against those clones. Remarkable!

"LILO & STITCH MOVIE 2: Stitch Has a Glitch"- Next Thursday 5:00 PM and 9:00 PM

Something is very wrong with Stitch, but Lilo is too fixed on a hula contest to do anything about it! A pre-Experiment era movie, it is also the last broadcast on Toon Disney.

Upcoming "Lilo & Stitch: The Series" 'Super Stacks' on Toon Disney:

Next Thursday starting at 2:00 PM: Episodes featured are "Dupe","Nosy", "Swirly", and "Felix"

Monday, February 2 starting at 2:00 PM: Episodes are unknown. Zap2it.com, the site I download printouts of the Episode Schedules, does not have titles listed for this particular 'Super Stack'. So it looks like this block is a play-by-ear block, meaning we'll have to watch and see which episodes are airing here. Stay tuned for further developments.

"LILO & STITCH" MOVIES ON TOON DISNEY: UPDATE! [January 26, 2009]:

"Stitch! The Movie"- Saturday 3:00 PM

This movie was the launchpad for the TV series which will be leaving Toon Disney at the exact same time Disney XD begins broadcasting. The Experiments are introduced in this movie. The first Experiment to be activated is Sparky.

WARNING! Toon Disney has altered the end credits for the "LILO & STITCH" MOVIES, using a fast-forwarded end credit sequence combined with a lousy 'promo box' hyping other programming- or perhaps promoting the new Disney XD network. In any case, the end credits have been rudely altered, upsetting viewers no end. We hope when Disney XD airs these movies, they will restore the end credits to their original, unaltered, full rolling time as determined by the production crew responsible for the movie that would be airing. (The other movies airing this week are listed a couple postings earlier on this board.)

"LILO & STITCH: THE SERIES" 'SUPER STACKS' ON TOON DISNEY: UPDATE! [January 27, 2009]

The 'Super Stack' originally scheduled to air Monday has been pushed back to Next Thursday, February 5! And, it's another airing of the Guest Star 'Super Stack', slightly rearranged. This time, the 'Super Stack' begins with "Lax" (guest starring the "Recess" Kids), followed by "Spats" (guest starring the Proud Family), "Rufus" (guest starring Kim Possible), and finally "Morpholomew" (guest starring the original design American Dragon Jake Long). That 'Super Stack' starts at 2:00 PM.

Then, on Saturday, February 7, it's THE LAST "LILO & STITCH: THE SERIES" 'WEEKEND SUPER STACK' ON TOON DISNEY EVER! But not the very last 'Weekend Super Stack' on Toon Disney ever. That won't be until the next day! Anyway, the current schedule of eps for this last "L&S" 'Weekend Super Stack' feature "Skip,""Checkers,""PJ,""Snooty,""Link," and "Remmy". So, at this time, Angel's cameo in the dream conga sequence that has her the third Experiment behind Dupe and Elastico is the last performance of "L&S" on the weekend. However, that could change, as Toon Disney may expand the final 'Weekend Super Stacks' by an hour, since "Timon & Pumbaa" no longer airs on the network.

ATTENTION ALL DEVOTED "LILO & STITCH: THE SERIES" FANS! The final broadcast of "Lilo & Stitch: The Series" on Toon Disney will be Next Sunday at 10:30 AM, right before the final Toon Disney 'Weekend Super Stack'- which is NOT "Lilo & Stitch: The Series", because that final 'Super Stack' of the show airs Saturday at 11:00 AM.

Anyway, Toon Disney's final "Lilo & Stitch: The Series" episode to air will be Episode #30 "Finder". Though it does have Experiment cameos, it's not one of the great eps. The major claim to that ep is that Jacques von Hamsterviel gets a chance to be in the spotlight, as Mertle's new pet. What a way to end the series run on Toon Disney, though not how any of the fans wanted the series to end its run, and not that morning either!

Hopefully, the schedule will be subject to change.

This past Sunday morning was the last broadcast of "Lilo & Stitch: The Series" on Toon Disney. The show is now gone from the network, and very shortly the network will be gone as well, a victim of uncalled-for promo pollution. The promo pollution ruined everyone's viewing and recording of Toon Disney programming in its waning years.

Promo pollution like superimposing messages hyping other programming at the bottom of the screen, changing the end credits for "LILO & STITCH: THE SERIES,""Brandy & Mr. Whiskers,""Dave the Barbarian," Season 1 episodes of "American Dragon Jake Long," and Season 2 and 3 episodes of "Kim Possible" into 'rolling' versions just to have a promo for other programming featured, and fast-forwarding movie rolling end credits while having a promo for other programming showing all led to the demise of Toon Disney.

But it has become impossible to view popular Toon Disney series On Demand because the series are no longer available. All fans have on the new Disney XD On Demand currently are "Phineas & Ferb" and "Yin Yang Yo!", a very limited choice for viewers.

But for now, let us remember when Toon Disney aired "Lilo & Stitch: The Series" the way it was always meant to air- for the first two weeks the series aired on the network.

This is the last posting on this particular board, since in just a few short hours, Toon Disney as we know it, will cease to exist. And already, there is pain. Pain which actually came late Sunday morning, when the final broadcast on the network of "Lilo & Stitch: The Series" came to a close, hurting all the devoted fans of the series.

However, there is a distinct possibility Disney Channel could rebrand their overnight animation block "Toon Disney" come early tomorrow morning, just one hour after the fully-animated channel has transmogrified into the awful Disney XD that will wind up a disaster if promo pollution interferes with the programming on that network. And since "Lilo & Stitch" has been irresponsibly left off the Disney XD schedule, what good is the network? It's not!

Fans will miss Toon Disney, the network, a lot, even though promo pollution wrecked it in its waning years.

    Aloha, Toon Disney.

    Meeka te bujibuu.

I know really! I hate it that Lilo and Stitch is not on Disney XD. Oh boy, I was afraid of this. If you take a look at Disney XD's schedule, you'll see it's really Jetix with a few Toon Disney shows thrown in. They should have named the network Jetix Plus, because that's what it really is. Very disappointing. Now all of us Lilo and Stitch fans are at the Mercy of Disney Channel. I hope to God they never ever decide to stop airing it. I would just die!

That's right! Disney XD only has a couple of popular shows from the old Toon Disney moniker: "Phineas & Ferb,""American Dragon Jake Long," and "Yin Yang Yo!" Plus, they have one great new animated series in "Kid Vs. Kat" and a somewhat dull new series "Jimmy Two-Shoes".

But the rest of the Disney XD lineup is either worthless Jetix-type animated programming or crummy live-action junk! Basically, Disney XD has shut down the library of Disney TV Animation for its new network, leaving only Disney Channel's overnight schedule as the sole proprietor of what little from Disney TV Animation airs, including the extremely popular "Lilo & Stitch: The Series" and current fave "Phineas & Ferb".

And it turns out that cable systems have a bit of a dilemma on Saturday mornings, because during that period between 8:00 AM and 11:00 AM, Disney XD has a single 2-minute cable break each hour, throwing the cable system's pattern out of whack. Usually, cable systems have a 1-minute break every half-hour.

You like Kid vs Kat. I haven't watched it yet. Anyway, what do you mean by "cable break?" Does the network go dark for 2 minutes or what? and not that I think it will ever hold a candle to the original series and I don't, what happened to Stitch the anime? I thought it was supossed to come out in February of this year. Did they decide to keep Stitch in Japan only, or what? Seeing the episode of the show on Youtube did spark my interest. So I'm just curious to know as to what happened? and your right, excedpt for a few shows Disney XD closed down Disney animation shows including of course, Lilo and Stitch, which I think totally sucks! Well bye.
