This is an OK episode, but it might offend some Christians, seeing as how this episode focuses on the theory of evolution, & there are some people who don't beleive in the thoery & might find it offensive. (I said MIGHT!) But I admit the charcters do look pretty funny after they have been retromorphed! Its too bad Stitch couldn't be retromorphed; he would have looked so funny!
I like this with all the twisted things like they were changed Pleakley is cuter and more decent when he is ancient!!! I felt like relieved after seeing this in the "An Evening Of Premieres" well it was a great shot like they were worshipping Nani but one thing for Lilo don't you have another dress!!!
This is the "be yourself" episode. Nani's high school friends appear to see how she is doing and automatically believes she runs a hotel. Nani tries to correct them, but they do not allow her to get a word in edgewize. So, Nani claims that she lied to them. But the truth of the matter is that they forced the title onto her. Meanwhile, experiment 210 is turning everything and everyone into primitive versions of themselves. 210 crashes the party and turns almost everyone into their primitive form. Stitch is about to stop 210 and revert anyone to normal. At the end, Lilo names 210 Retro and makes him the helper to create prehistoric animals for the local zoo. I give it a point for getting the era correct, but the entire episode was a snore feast. Nani did not lye. Her friends misread the scene. I give this episode... a 5... out of 10.moreless
If Retro requires a modern incarnation of a primitive animal/object to work its magic, what on earth was retromorphed to create a Tyrannosaurus Rex?. Very simple: a chicken!. I know it's extremly weird, but it is. Before "Chicken Little" arrives, Disney Channel aired something titled "Chicken's Riddles" (or something like that). In this, curious data were given about the chickens. And one of then, although you don't believe it, it's that the chicken it's related with the terrible Tyrannosaurus Rex. So, the most probable thing it's that Retro used a chicken to create that Tyrannosaurus.

B: Miscellaneous Notes
--> Retro turns an elephant into a Wolly Mammoth, a tiger into a sabertooth tiger, and a squirrel into a 'sabertooth squirrel'.
--> Stitch is the only one who saves the day on this episode.
--> The solution to turning things back to nornal with retro was to wrap its tounge around the object and to spank his butt.
--> Notable for its depiction of a handicapped character as a friend and equal--one of Nani's friends walks with stiff legs and metal crutches attached to her wrists by bracelets, and it seems she has done so for years. Her affliction (polio?) is not dwelt on, though never quite made clear. When retromorphed the steel crutches turn to wooden sticks.
Edit
Ice Age
Retro turns a squirrel into a saber-tooth squirrel. There is a saber-tooth squirrel named "Scrat" in 20th Century Fox's Ice Age.
Edit
Jurassic Park.
Lilo says "This remides me of a movie I once saw. . . But I'm pretty sure this will end better. . ." (accompanied by thumping sounds, followed by an actual T-Rex). The Jurassic Park reference is quite appropriate since much of that movie was filmed on Kauai.
