Well I really like this episode it was cleverly plotted, and the setting. All I know is that I really liked this episode and know I'll explain it. Sinker (experiment 602)is activated and his ability is to sink ship with his very large razor-sharp dorsal fin. With the boat competition coming up so soon Lilo has never been so pushed for time to catch and experiment. But trouble comes when 602 has sunk there boat and now they are drifting out to see, luckily for them a cruise ship comes by a rescues them. But when they find out they are stow aways he tell them he's gonna return to the shore. Buut in order to get there the cruise has to go into the bay where sinker is waiting to sink any boat that comes in his territoy. Eventually they catch sinker and get another boat for Keoni to enter the contest with. Now about 602. A small shark-like experiment who is purple, designed to sink Navy ships with his huge razor-sharp dorsal fin(His dorsal fin maybe huge but sinker has a very small body. His one true place is at Japanese restaurant cutting up vegetables and fillet fish for to make sushi with with his large darsal.moreless

  • Sushi? I love sushi!!!

    Sushi...

Anyway, I like this episode because Stitch overcomes his fear of water(as seen in the Spooky episode), and that, well, it's just cool altogether.

We just need a little fix-up on the experiment, since it seems too...blah.

Altogerther, Sinker is a really great episode, and Disney should keep up the good work.

    ^_^
  • Another experiment with a seriously limited purpose.

Sinker is one of those experiments that makes you think Jumba had had very little reason for designing it. How many planets in the galaxy have large quantities of suitable liquids floating about their surface? Not many. How many of those planets are inhabited by species which float on the liquid in sinkable vessels? Even less.

Still, the buffet scene is one of my favourite parts of any episode. The music and style of animation really comes together to make that part enjoyable. And it shows that Stitch still has a problem understanding that he can't have everything he wants.
It was fun to see Lilo get out-chippered and call the woman 'Twinkle-head'. :D

But they stretched the 'it has a big fin, therefore it must be huge and menacing' idea a little bit thin. There's a scene where Sinker goes out of his way to hide his body and it just looks unnatural.moreless

This episode was one of my favorite in season one. . . I really like the water based experiments. . . But Sinker was just so adorible. . . With is giant shark fin, but small body. . . This episode was just amazing. . . My favorite part had to be when Stitch takes Sinker on, on his own turf. . . It really showed development towards Stitch's water fobia! ! . . . .moreless

    • Even though Stitch sinks in water, 625 doesn't seem to have a problem with it.

    • It said he'd sink in water not be destroyed by it. He survived in this episode because he was either on the ship or in a life jacket or that special suit Jumba made for him.

    • When Lilo is struggling to get Stitch into the boat, Jumba asks what is wrong with Stitch. Wouldn't he, of all characters, know that Stitch is too heavy to swim?

    • In the original movie, it was stated that 626 can't survive in water, as his molecular density is too great. But in this episode he was in water for most of the episode.

    • When you first see Lilo, Pleakley and Jumba in costume on the ship, Jumba has no band-aid on his knee, but when they're in the room where the captain drives the ship, it is there.

    • When Jumba and Pleakley collected supplies for the invention, Jumba said he needed souvenirs to send to his "evil genius family back home", but in the second movie, Jumba states that he has no family.
