I may not have seen fully this episode yet (that is why I'm not giving a perfect score) but base on the piece or sneak peek of what I've seen it was great!!! I really like the face of Wishy-Washy he was just so cute especially with the smile and I like his energy gauge it was so cute for him!!!
  • This is a pretty decent episode. It's a shame they didn't do more with it.

An experiment who grants wishes...? ...Er, all right. At least it doesn't look exactly like Stitch.

This is a good episode, one of the main reasons being that there isn't a great big moral shoved in your face. On the contrary, Pleakley actually makes fun of the 'Be careful what you wish for" thing as if it were childish. What Lilo learns is that sometimes you can't improve on what you already have by using wishes, which is far less cliché.

The only problem with it is that it wasn't terribly exciting. Experiment activated, captured by Gantu, must go rescue, yadda yadda yadda. It's good that they brought the Ohana theme back in. Still, it could have been so much more than just a carbon copy.moreless
  • Loved this eppy! :)

This episode was excellent, also a little revealing. We get to learn a little bit about Gantu's past, his old crush was a fine example, but she turned out to be a little freakish.

This eppy was good, Lilo wants David to marry Nani too soon, but you cannot rush marrage, she refused in the beginning to accept the differences of familes, due to the fact Lilo only has nani and she kind of wants a father figure around.

She learned to accept that all families are different. Also we get to see a little kindness from 625 that we don't usually see in the series. He seemed to give Gantu advice in the eppy which was very sweet of him.

The eppy was funny too, like wishywashy being too literal with wishes, like Jumba turning into a ruler (the one used for measurement) instaed of being the bigest ruler of the universe.

This eppy was very enjoyable! :)moreless
  • This was a very special episode, but it wasn't the best.

This was a great episode and it was very funny. I thought that there could have been more explaining about the part when jumba said that he wasted all of the wishes on himself, but when he was activeated his wish meter was full. The funny part was at the end when david said there was silverware on floor , but he did it.

Trivia, Notes, Quotes and Allusions

  • TRIVIA (1)

    • Jumba said that he wasted wishes on himself when he had orginally created 267. If that was the case, Why was the wish meter full when 267 was activated? Did the meter reset when Jumba dehydrated him?

  • QUOTES (2)

    • Nani: David, could you leave?
      David: Leave?
Nani: Yeah, you're freaking out the customers.

    • Lilo: (to david) What's the matter?
      David: Lousy surf today.
Lilo: Oh well, maybe you could do something else.
      David: Hmm, like what?
Lilo: Something you haven't done in a relly long time.
      David: Uh, boogeyborading?
Lilo: No, ask Nani out on a date.

    • B: Miscellaneous Notes

--> Gantu wished that Dr. Hamstervil would turn into a rat that he kept as a pet and fed cheese. (EDIT: what's wrong with that, other than the fact that rats/ other rodents shouldn't eat cheese)

--> We see a female of Gantu's race (females have larger heads). There is also some evidence that Gantu's race is mammalian (humans, dogs, cats, etc.).

--> It turns out Wishy Washy has a limit on wishes he can grant, he has a guage on his stomach, and for each wish he grants, the gauge goes down, and when it is completely empty, he cannot grant anymore wishes (You cannot wish for more wishes either, Jumba made sure of that)

--> Wishy Washy was dubbed a "Failed experiment" for being too literal with the wishes. Example, you wished to be grand ruler of the universe, he would turn you into the actual meaning of it, a real ruler, the measuring kind

--> Gantu's ship gets a cloaking device, or did it always have one? (Edit: I think he might have WISHED for it!)

--> It is reveiled that Gantu had an old high school sweet heart named Cinta, he wishes that he had married her instead of joining the Galatic Fedaration. So to recaptured the one he let slip through his fingers Gantu wishes for her to join him as his queen on his ship so he won't be alone. Much to his horror his beauty was a major beast!

    • Aladdin

625s outfit near the end bears a resemblance to the sultan's outfit. Also, Genie's third rule is "ixnay on the wishing for more wishes", and Wishy- Washy obeys the same moral code.
