Line of Fire

Show Summary

Strap on your weapon and try to survive another day on the streets. It's the same on both sides of the law. If you want to make it to the top, you've got to learn the ropes, outwit the competition and take down your enemies. Welcome to the war between the FBI and organized crime. One side enforces the law as the other breaks it, but brains, brawn and intimidation are often the tools of both trades. The Richmond-based Malloy Crime Syndicate is run by Jonah Malloy, a charismatic but dangerous father figure. The Richmond FBI branch has its own dynamic leader in Special Agent-In-Charge Lisa Cohen. Like any business, they must justify operations and produce results while wrangling lieutenants who are as flawed as they are hard-working. These titanic organizations work side-by-side, completely aware of each other, but are unable and often unwilling to completely destroy the enemy that stands in their way.

Line of Fire stars Leslie Hope (24) as FBI agent Lisa Cohen and Oscar-nominee David Paymer (The Commish) as crime boss Jonah Malloy. Jeffrey D. Sams (Wasteland) will play the role of Todd Stevens, as an FBI agent. The show was simulcast in HDTV.

This fast-paced drama is a gritty look at two very dangerous and different worlds that viewers have only imagined. ========================== First Telecast: December 02, 2003 Last Telecast: May 30, 2004 Episodes: 11 Aired, 2 Unaired ======================= Also Known As: Lines of Duty (USA) (working title) Runtime: USA:60 min (13 episodes) Country: USA ====================== Company credits

  • This was an awesome show.

    10
This was one of the best shows on TV. The stories, plots, actors and directors were all subperb. Everything was very well thought out. ABC should have given it another shot on a different night. The series ender was also very pivital and could have gone in different directions. The Head Man's wife was about to testify against her husband, after one of his hendchmen raped her. Please ABC, WB or UPN please pick this series up from that spot and take off with it.

Lesley Bibb is also a fantastic actress, she fit the series perfectly. David Paymer also plays a terrific bad guy. It was fun watching him play that part after his part in "The American President"moreless

It got into your mind and didn't go away you can tell that by how i am talking about it now still. This show was so different then all the other crim shows it was more indef into the police and the crimals lives. It made me think of how the other half on all of us lives day to day. The actors were also very good in this show.moreless
