  • Wendy and Shane sort things out, Nico and Griffin get together, Victory proposes to Joe.

    8.5
This was a decent episode and an improvement on the most recent offerings. Wendy and Shane's storyline about Shane touring with Natasha Bedingfield was resolved and Wendy finally let him follow his dream of going on tour. Victory finally proposed to Joe in a very tender scene at the end, despite his business going bankrupt. Nico's prescence in the story was perhaps the weakest. She seems to be getting it together with Griffin though there appears to be a soft spot for Kirby there still. The show is about to be axed (maybe only 1 last episode to go) so there is not much time left to finish the series properly. I hope they do.moreless

  • QUOTES (9)

    • Wendy: Hey, everything went fine. They retrieved eight eggs to freeze.
Nico:(Still high) I'm having eight babies? Aww...Don't tell Charles. He'll be so mad at me...
      Wendy: I won't.

    • Victory: (to Joe) I may not be able to bank-roll you, Mr Bennett. Yet. But I know how to keep you looking sharp. You own my heart, Joe. Whatever else you do or you don't have, you'll always own my heart.

    • Shane: Don't I get a good morning?
Wendy: Yeah, you kinda get what you give.

    • Maddie: (talking about Shane) Was he wasted?
Wendy: Your father does not get wasted.
(Shane shuffles into the room, clearly hung-over.)
Shane: Er, yeah, but if he did, he might wake up the next morning looking a bit like this.

    • Wendy: What if we go with you?
      Shane: What?
Wendy: On tour, me and the kids. After we got home last night I was just looking for ways to make it work and this is what I came up with.
      Shane: Wendy?
Wendy: Well it'll be an adventure for them. An educational experience.
Shane: Alright, yeah, living in hotel rooms, our 15-year-old daughter who's already whipped up a fake ID. Have you gone mad?

    • Shane: (to Dr. Cress about Wendy) This whole therapy thing, it was all her idea. If she wants to tell you what I'm thinking, that's fine with me.

    • Victory: OK, look. All I need is one hour, Friday. We can forget dinner, just one sip of wine and we'll split a crabcake. Are you in, are you out?
Joe: I'm in. I want my own crabcake.

    • Wendy: How was work?
Shane: Oh, tedious. I seem to have been saddled with a drummer who's unburdened by any sense of rhythm.

    • Wendy: Just because I'm working from home does not mean I'm going to be cramping your style.
Maddie: The scary thing is that you actually believe that.
