First appearences: Pat and Don, Leonard; the retirement home worker.
This is the firt time either David or Matt plays two different characters in the same scene. David plays Vicky Pollard's boss and uncle in her sketch.
Funny place name: St. Saddam's hospital, Dane Bowersville.
Funny times: Five past Ming the Merciless, five past Nicky Nacky Noo Noo.
Andy the Philosopher: The Thames
Andy believes the only way to see London is "via it's ancient waterways which was like a pulsating artery through this historic city".
It is inferred by the Narrator that Vicky now has 12 children. We only see six in this episode, the other 'half' apparently have been left at home.
Maggie's Surname is revealed as 'Blackamoor'.
Narrator: Why are people fat? Because God hates them. So they attend diet classes like this.
(Desiree bends over to find her wig)
Bubbles: Oh, it's like the Black Hole of Calcutta.
Desiree: How dare you make personal remarks about my A-hole!
Narrator: This couple are visiting their local Indian restaurant. To my mind, anyone who eats foreign food is a traitor and should be shot at dawn.
Judy: Here you are Maggie, some grapes.
(Maggie takes the grapes and looks at them)
Maggie: Oh, South African. (She puts them down.)
Mr. Mann: I can't help thinking, this owl looks more disillusioned than displeased.
Roy: Get out or I will strangle you.
Man on phone: Is that Sapphire?
Vicky: Yeah, but, no, but, yeah this is Spitfire and I'm wearing like really sexy knickers that I got from George at Asda.
Narrator: The British postal service is the best in the world. Put a first class stamp on your letter and it's guaranteed to possibly arrive at some point somewhere if you're lucky!
Andy: Car!
Lou: No Andy, these are just the adverts.
Andy: Yeah, I know... (stares at TV) ...Laboratoire Garnier!
Andy: Which one's Richard and which one's Judy?
Narrator: Britain, Britain, Britain! Man it's easily the best God darn, cotton pickin' country in the world. Yeehaa! I went to France, I found it far too French. Spain was full of Spaniards and Poland stank of farts. But what makes Britain so moist and fragrant? Why it be the people! Let's visit them now. Pack it up, pack it in, let me begin!
Original International Air Dates:
Czech Republic: September 2, 2009 on HBO Comedy
This episode was advertised as 'The ONE to watch'.
Vicky: ...spent the whole lesson totally staring at my Müller Fruit Corner!
"Fruit Corner" is a popular UK brand of Yoghurt made by the Bavarian originated company, Müller. Vicky is using the brand name as a euphemism.
Vicky's made up friends: Ferrero, Rochet and... Twix!
Vicky's thinking of real life chocolate confectionery known as 'Ferrero Rochet' and 'Twix' to try and make up sexy names.
Vicky: George at Asda.
While on the phone Vicky claims to be wearing sexy knickers from George at Asda. George is Asda's supermarket-budget clothing brand name - clothing you wouldn't normally openly admit to wearing as if it was a designer label.
TV Show: Richard & Judy
This episode features guest appearances from Richard Madeley and Judy Finnigan who appear as presenters of their own real life show Richard and Judy normally broadcast as part of Channel 4's late afternoon schedule. Andy attempts to play their usually easy to win phone-in game 'You say, we pay'.
Narrator: Pack it up, pack it in, let me begin!
Lyrics from the song 'Jump Around' performed by House of Pain.
