After making us laugh for three years; the ridiculously talented David Walliams and Matt Lucas end their hugely sucessful show Little Britain and the send - off is sort of an anti - climax for the great series.
Rather than being focused on comedy; the episode is dedicated to tying up all the loose strings and in doing so they've insitgated more tears than laughs from the audience; even Marjorie attracts some sympathy. The Lou and Andy sketch having four parts is a blessing and a curse; for one thing Andy is hilarious but devoting 60% of the episode to him overstays it's welcome and his suffering at the hands of the strict Mrs. Mead is far more depressing than anything Andy did to Lou, the punishment doesn't fit the crime.
One thing that made Little Britain so provactive was the shock factor; any new character or concept that kept even the diehard fans suprised but this episode offers nothing new. Every Little Britain moment is almost a cliche and while it's not bad; most fans would be left disappointed.
There's been many classic finales in the history of TV; Seinfeld, Cheers, Mash and Fawlty Towers but this episode doesn't provide a grand send - off or even anything new; it belongs in the middle of the season and not the end.moreless

Carol gets a shock - computer says yes! Lou returns to the Isle of Wright following his mum's death. Andy is not pleased by the temporary carer Lou has arranged for him. Emily discovers Florence (Fred) is leaving Old Haven. Linda is visited by a big, black man. Andy's new helper wants to know about Andy's feeling in his legs - by hitting it with a brass object. Mrs Emery visits the doctor with knee problems. Marjorie's FatFighters finally take a stand against her. Linda gets a protest visit from all the students she has insulted. Andy's helper finds alternative 'entertainment' for Andy. Daffyd prepares to leave the village for a new life in London. Anne is entering the Christmas spirit - which Dr Beagrie discovers the hard way. Dudley discovers Ting Tong has turned his house into a Thai restaurant.
