  • An interesting episode that's about law and order and family.

A cool, interesting episode about Jonathan and Andy Garvey finding a new life in Sleepy Eye after the death of Alice Garvey. Jonathan is appalled at the city's crime rate and becomes a deputy sheriff to create some law and order. That creates problems for Andy, however, who gets beaten up by a group of delinquents that has caused the city trouble for a while.

  • TRIVIA (3)

    • John Dukakis is the son of one-time presidential candidate Michael Dukakis.

    • Right before Patrick Labyorteaux (Andrew) gets assaulted, you can hear him whistling "Oh Susanna." He also sang this song with Laura, Mary, and Carrie in Season 4's The Wolves, when they were in a frightening situation.

    • Even though it's been a while since Alice Garvey died, this is the first time since that horrific Season 6 episode that we see Jonathan and Andy really talk about it and grieve together. In fact, when the death first happened, Jonathan was very standoffish and didn't do much to help his young son through the tragedy, so this can be counted as the first time that they really let it all out.
