I always tend to find those episodes to be the most dramatic and/or heartwarming and I would like to put together a list. If you can think of ANY episode in which a character gets sick or injured, even if it's not the main story, then please post!

I don't know where my hyphens went! There were hyphens between the episode titles and the character names in the above post, but they disappeared when I submitted it. Makes it kinda hard to read, but I think you get the idea.

Oh, how could I have left out Pa's classic "Back to School" injury? It's the vehicle that allows Caroline to start working at Nellie's, which is an important factor in the plot of this episode and a few others as well.

I often forget about TPCP. Did she twist her ankle in that one? I have to watch it again.

(Wild Boy was on my list)

Yeah, twisted or sprained. Laura was pretty tough, she hardly ever got hurt, she falls off horses, gets hit by a tornado, takes a ride down the rapids, pushed down by bully boys, and only got sick a couple of times, like in "Mortal Mission", "Mr Edward's Homecoming", her tooth pulled in "Plague", poison ivy in "Quarantine".

I don't know if you want a TV Movie but there is "Look Back to Yesterday" in which Albert is told he has a terminal blood disease. Also there s "He Loves Me, He Loves Me Not Part II" when at the end, Almanzo gets a severe cold or something and collapses. In "A Child With No Name" Laura's child dies and she blames Dr. Baker but is forced to get his help when Rose becomes sick. In "Home Again Part I and II", Albert suffers from an addiction to morphine just in case you consider that to be an illness.
