Little House on the Prairie: Which child on Little House was punished the most?

Out of all the main characters, which one was punished the most. I think it would have to be Nellie or Willie. I believe that Nellie was spanked three times during the show, and Willie was told to stand in the corner of Ms. Beadle's classroom three or four times.

I agree, easily Willie, but I dare anyone to come up with a single time Albert got punished, and we all know he did every awful thing in the book from manslaughter to peeping.

The only time Albert was punished was on this forum...about two years ago, I believe...what a fun time

For as many times as Laura went against the will of Pa and Ma, I don't recall her getting in trouble that much except for when she had to apologize to Nellie, and then refused to do so to Almanzo.

Probably Willie. It makes me angry, but because Nellie was spoiled, as was Nancy, they hardly ever got punished. Well, that is, unless Harriet was away and Nels was in charge, or Nels had had enough of their behavior.

Albert never committed manslaughter. If you are thinking about Mary's baby and Jonathan's wife it was an accident.

Being "an accident" does not dissolve him legally, because it was accidental is why it's manslaughter and not murder, same as you -at fault accidentally crashing your car and killing its occupants, the DA is going to file manslaughter charges against you, and rightfully so. Albert would have been charged with man 2.

I remember a few episodes where Mr Olson got the belt to hit Nelly at the end. I was mostly surprised by the lack of disipline with Laura...even in the books she gets punished. She always got a light reprimand or a had to say "sorry" even after stealing. I don't advocate hitting, but even Mary was barred from a test that had prizes for the best score.
Well, I guess they turne out okay. : )
