      • The "singing" of young actor Keith Coogan (Timothy) is quite hilarious, especially since it's blaringly obvious that it's not the child singing, but somebody else. Timothy repeats the same part of the song three or four times at the end, and each time, it sounds exactly the same, which makes it even more fake.

      • Every time the blind children are singing, you can tell that they are lip-synching, but it is especially obvious the first time we see them singing "Get on Board" with Hester Sue. The voices we hear are loud and domineering, but the children are hardly even opening their mouths as they "sing." It would be impossible to produce a sound like that under those conditions.
