Another "Laura and Andy" episode, and really, quite as dull overall as the previous one. The two kids were both terrific actors on the show, most particularly Melissa Gilbert, but it seems as though when an episode centres around them, they are given weak scripts, which is a shame because they are both capable of much more.
In this episode, robberies are taking place around Walnut Grove, mostly foodstuffs, by a person who is nicknamed "The Creeper." Laura and Andy are recent converts to crime fiction novels and feel that all their reading gives them the required skills and knowledge to solve the case. And so, "The Garvey and Ingalls Detective Agency" is born and the two youngsters to do their utmost to apprehend the villain.
It's a nice ending but a rather slow-moving and predictable episode all round.
