...and this episode was one of those times. It's not often a message can successfully be incorporated into a show and not become the "lesson du jour", as has often happened, even on this series. But this episode clicked.
Geri Hall was the best pick for the role of Rayyan's college friend, to play that righter-than-right, all seeing, all knowing messenger from the chosen people! Her voice alone would do it, but her timing is impeccable and her demeanor just made you want to smack her! It was perfect!
Even what was the side-story in this one, Amaar and the Rev. having to work "together" to keep Sarah afloat, was entertaining. Of course, along with Carlo Rota, Sheila McCarthy IS this series!
I hope this kind of writing continues...moreless
