Regine: It ain't too late to fake an injury.
Max: Fake an injury? That's weak. Khadijah, as soon as that ball is tossed up, give that girl an elbow to the jaw.

Synclaire: Khadijah, that's just stinking thinking. I want you to lift your chin and win.
Overton: I gotta agree with my little Maya Angelou here.

(Regine and Max enter kitchen)
Regine: The girl was unbelievable, like this. (Reaches into air, sees Khadijah) So I said, "Look how short I am. I can't reach all the way up there!"

Khadijah: Denise and I have been playing ball against each other since ninth grade. And from the start, she thought she was God's gift to the game. Well, I'm here to tell you she's not. Calls herself a finesse player. Big mess player's what I call her!

Regine: Kyle, I've been calling for the last five minutes. If I hadn't run into Scooter I would've had to lug those bags all the way here from the corner.
(Scooter holds up two tiny shopping bags)
Scooter: She was hailing a cab when I saw her.

Synclaire: Kyle, your on-line name is Chocolate Thunder?
Kyle: Well, Chocolate Lover and Chocolate Desire were already taken.
Max: I'm sure Simple Simon was free.
Kyle: So is Yakking Unemployed Shrew. Care to log on?
