Khadijah: Roommates from heaven we are not.
Regine: That's not true. If you could see how I treat people outside this house, you'd know how close I feel to y'all.

Max: Are you the same Khadijah James who publishes the hip, urban, always informative Flavor magazine?
Khadijah: Why yes, (looking into camera) I am.
Max: Flavor is my favorite. Please tell these lucky people how they too can get the flavor.
Delia: Well now if you're done with that shameless plug, you wanna tell us who you are?
Max: Maxine Shaw, attorney-at-law.
Synclaire: She practically lives with us.
Regine: And is a welcome guest any time, day or night.
Max: You got that on videotape, right?

Regine: Well, I am the glue that holds this group together.
Khadijah: And you must have gotten a few whiffs of that glue when you was putting on your nails and hair.

Regine: Khadijah, this is not the outfit I laid out for you.
Khadijah: Oh, that was you. I thought my mother stopped by to get me ready for the third grade class picture.

Synclaire: Khadijah, you have to do something. Regine just offered me her room.
Max: She can't do that. We're gonna put the pool table in there, right?

Regine: If you think I'm so annoying, why didn't you just tell me?
Khadijah: Regine, I am not gonna sit you down every time you get on my nerves. Who has that kind of time? Look, I've just learned to accept you for the way you are.
Regine: Yeah, well accept this! (gets up, throws her microphone on the floor, and leaves)

Synclaire: Regine, don't be upset. My mother suggested that I move in with Khadijah too.
Regine: Yeah, well, that's different. You need adult supervision.

Khadijah: If I had to say something--and this is really small--Regine has a tendency of holding onto her hand lotion like a dog with a bone.
Regine: Well, and this is even smaller--Khadijah, on very rare occasion, acts as if someone died and made her queen.

Synclaire: Stop that. That is your nerves talking. And as a veteran of the stage, I can tell you that there is nothing to worry about.
Regine: Honey, you've been in one play.
Synclaire: And the audience at the Wheel of Fortune!

Khadijah: Regine, you are obsessed.
Regine: I'm not obsessed. I'll just die if I don't get on that show. Say you'll do it. Say it! Say it! Say it!

Synclaire: Khadijah, Delia thinks we're roommates from heaven, and I think she knows a little bit more about relationships than you do--she's been married six times--all right?
