Last week's episode was way funnier.

The idea was very nice and Fran's physical comedy with the bottle was great but what about the rest? Apparently the show's getting better when the plot isn't about the younger man/older woman relationship. Fran acts quite insecure buying Riley many expensive gifts like she wants to make him stay. What about her children? Don't they deserve a present from time to time, too? Without doing anything like it's the case with Riley? It's actually kinda weird. And they should definitively stop the kissing because there is no chemistry.

Meryl, her cousin, and the children did a good job. Josh's try to fix Becca up with a freshman failed but gave the opportunity to watch those actors more than a few seconds. Although they still weren't seen long enough. Fran dominates the show most of the time which can be single sided and I'm talking about the whole show here, not only that episode.

Ben Feldman and Misti Traya are very good at comedy and should be given more chances to proof it.moreless
