Ms. Brown has recently returned from another stay with the Denver Repertory Theatre Company as "Miss Delores" in the World Premiere of Waiting To Be Invited hailed by audiences and critics alike.

    Having studied acting with the extraordinary acting teacher Milton Katselas, Candy is also well represented in film and on television in episodes of "Sister Sister", "Roc", "Quantum Leap", "The Smart Guy" "Nash Bridges", "Ellen", "NYPD Blue", "Chicago Hope" "What's Lizzie Thinking?", and "Six Feet Under" to mention a few. Candy was a series regular on the short lived yet critically acclaimed "Men" as Ving Rhames' wife and in the films "Heartbeat" with Nick Nolte and the mother to N'Bushe Wright in "Zebrahead" among others. Primary among Candy's upcoming projects, is her role as Odessa Clay in the Mohammed Ali film biography, "Ali" starring Will Smith.

    In the midst of all the performing, Candy manages to teach as well as direct and choreograph. She holds dance classes at two studios in Hollywood. She was movement consultant to Lucie Arnaz as Ms. Arnaz prepared for her Las Vegas opening, and to Mr. Robert Guillaume as he prepared for his performance in the "Phantom of the Opera." She has taught dance at Marla Gibbs Crossroads Conservatory for the Performing Arts, at Faith Acting Studios, private lessons and a commercial dance class at Loyola Marymount University. She has choreographed A Taste of Fosse also for Loyola's spring concert, The Wiz for Cal State Norhridge and Annie for the Teenage Drama Workshop in Northridge.

    Candy Brown is a consummate performer and an artist dedicated to sharing her blessings as a performer, a teacher, and a guide.
