Disney Channel (ended 2004)

*sigh* It is the best Disney Channel show ever

    I've seen all the LM episodes, as well as all of the episodes of the more recent shows like "The Suite Life ...",
    "That's So Raven" and "Naturally Sadie". I know it's still an opinion, but it seems like LM was better than all of them. The trend today is that the boy-crazy girls (and yes, Lizzie was one of them) now start getting their way. Although Lizzie was totally crushing on Ethan Craft, she never got what she wanted with that. It was a really big deal that she got to kiss a guy in one of the episodes. As for Gordo, it took until the LM Movie for that thing to be totally realized.

    Now take a look at other shows. Raven's had multiple boyfriends, the big one of course would be Devon Carter. It was never a big deal about Raven finding a boyfriend; it all happened rather suddenly. It seems that almost every episode has to do with someone chasing after someone else.
    This is the same for "The Suite Life Of Zack and Cody". There's very little to be redeemed about this show.

    All I can say is, if this is a trend, The Disney Channel might even be competing with MTV in a few years in terms of its loose content.

    All I can say is, The Disney Channel had FANTASTIC stuff when it came to Lizzie McGuire (and Even Stevens, kudos!).

    Other Thoughts?

    are you serious?!?! That's So Raven and TSL are so much better than LM!!!! TSL is my fave. show and it is hilarious and no, there is way more to it besides chasing a guy.... TSR is also funny and it is not all about chasing a guy. Geez! Do you even watch those shows?!? I like Lizzie McGuire but it is not that AMAZING of a show...

    YES, I watch these shows, silly. I SAID so in my post. I did not say that there is nothing else TO those shows, particularly That's So Raven. Did you read my post? Although I didn't mention it, I should have said that I can see why people watch TSR. In fact, there's a lot of physical comedy in the show that has not been seen in any other show since "I Love Lucy". That is not what's being talked about here. I'm talking about the component of the show that involves boy-chasing. It is deeply relevant that these things were less prominent in Lizzie McGuire and MORE prominent in That's So Raven.

    I compared Lizzie McGuire to TSR and TSL specifically, and Naturally Sadie indirectly. Based on that, I called LM the best Disney Channel show ever. My main reason for saying that was how prominent the boy-chasing component was.

    I think that Lizzie McGuire is probably my fav. But it depends I guess on my mood that day What can I say, I love Disney channel TV

    I don't think this show is the greatest ever. The only Disney shows I like are Suite Life and KP. Life w/ Derek is okay.

    I'm not really too fond of this show, either. The only reason I sometimes watch it is because I like the way Lizzie dresses in some episodes.

    i think it is better than those shows. i am glad it doesn't have that annoying laughing in the background. it just lets the jokes stand alone.

    i love all of those too, exept LM:JL. i think that LM is a pretty good show, but deffantly not the best on disney.

    I totally agree I always thought That So Raven was a copy cat on Lizzie McGuire just look at what they are trying to build a relationship with Raven and Eddie who showed no interest for each other at lease Lizzie and Gordo had their little moments in soem episodes before the movie came to screen. I also really at Thats So Raven just because they try to pull off drama and I don't buy it Lizzie was like the perfect blend of drama and comedy that kept people tune I don't even care about That So Raven anymore.

     i think LM sucks and i think tsl sucks way more so i guessLM is alittle better than tsl but there is no way LM is better than TSR, TSR is actually funny.
