I rather enjoyed this episode, as the story was quite busy and had a lot going on. There were multiple storylines running at the same time, which meant the viewer was always entertained. It also meant that almost every character on the show (with the exception of Ma & Pa Kent) made a worthwhile appearance in this episode and contributed something to the story.
Lois and Clark begin spending time with another couple, Bob and Carol, and soon become close friends. It was interesting to note how alike Bob and Carol are to Lois and Clark, to the point where Bob even looks like Clark! As I mentioned there are multiple storylines running through this episode, from Clark investigating some strange murders, to Lois trying to get an interview with a reclusive billionaire, to Jimmy and Perry's respective dating stories. Another character from DC comics is also introduced; the assassin Deathstroke. His ability to challenge Superman physically (without the use of Kryptonite) and his connection to Bob and Carol make his addition to the episode an interesting one. The actor playing Deathstroke also does quite a good job, making the audience almost feel sorry for the character through the tragic circumstances which led to his creation, and the realisation that he is the only one of his kind, like Superman.
Overall, I thought this episode was quite entertaining. Be sure to keep a listen out for a few more mentions of the Buffalo Bills (the football team Dean Cain played for before getting injured and becoming an actor).
