This story feels a little like a Quantum Leap adventure, I'll admit the plot is a bit far fetched with the past lives thing (but not implasable) but other than that this episode is just plain fun. It's great because it's one of those rare episodes where Clark is not using his superpowers for once but execute the human ways of combat from swordfighting, gunfights, and fistfighting. We see an alternate version of all the characters from Perry, Jimmy, Lois, Tempus, Clark's family, and Clark. Different eras, different outfits but yet still the same people that they are today. From the medievil era where Clark still plays the hero but in that era is more a Robin Hood/Zorro like role. Right near the final half where we visit Smallville in the Wild West (which is seen in Tempus Fugative) and Clark is a Cowboy.moreless

    ADD NOTES
    • Terry Kiser returns to the role of H.G. Wells; the role was last played by Hamilton Camp. Edit
  • Quotes

    ADD QUOTES
    • Clark/Sir Charles: I'm supposed to be out searching for The Fox. Baron Tempos wants me to duel him for your love. Lois/Lady Loisette: You fighting you for me? That should be interesting. Edit
    • Squire Jeremy: Sir Charles, you're the Fox? I love it! Baron Tempos: Well, of course! It all makes perfect sense. Never in the same place at the same time, always ducking away and returning with some lame excuse... I can't belive I was actually fooled by a little mask over the eyes. Loisette/Lois: Duh. Join the club. Edit
    • Baron Tempos: The Fox has stolen lady Loisette from me, and I simply can't have that. I hate it when the hero gets the heroine. It's so cliche. Edit
  • Allusions

    ADD ALLUSIONS
    • H.G.Wells: The power of your love is what brings your souls together, time after time. This is a reference to the 1979 movie Time After Time which also featured H.G.Wells. In the movie Wells chases Jack the Ripper through time into the 20th century, and on the way to stopping his crime spree, falls in love. Edit
    • The leader of the movement opposing the bad regime is called the Fox, this is probably a reference to the movie The Court Jester with Danny Kaye where the leader of the resistance was called the Black Fox. Edit
