  • Season 2 Episode 22: And the Answer Is...

  • Three endings to this episode were filmed. The first ending ended with "Clark....," and it was shown at the tail end of "And The Answer Is." Strangely, "...We Have A Lot To Talk About", the third season premiere, opened with Lois saying "Who's asking, Clark or Superman?" There was also a third ending, with Lois saying "Yes," that was never used. All of these endings were filmed for this episode, and the decision to use the "Clark..." was made at the last minute.

  • Nitpick: Jonathan is able to shatter a metal grating when Superman freezes it with his super breath. Freezing things don't make them easier to break, it just makes them more rigid and less pliant. While this may make things like rubber balls easier to break, a metal grating, which is already rigid and non-pliant, will not be so easy.

  • Season 2 Episode 20: Individual Responsibility

  • Goof: At the end, we see Perry sitting in his chair from behind, laughing. When we see him from the front, he has his right arm up with the pen in his hand. When the camera switches to his back, he has his left arm up.

  • Nitpick: The men searching for the red kryptonite are using metal detectors, but if they were looking for radioactve meteorite crystals, they should be using a geiger counter.

  • The kid that delivers the flowers from Scardino was the same messenger who delivered the note from the fake Superman in "Vatman".

  • Season 2 Episode 19: Target: Jimmy Olsen!

  • Goof: When Superman faces the gunman and we see him from behind, we can see Dean Cain's put the bullet into his mouth which he later "catches" with his teeth.

  • In this episode, Jimmy mentions that he just turned 20 years old.

  • Goof: When Dr. Katherine Wilder is looking through her father's files in the beginning of the episode she has on latex gloves. When she bends to pick up the folder after Dr. Golden is murdered she doesn't have them on, but has them on again when she stands back up.

  • Season 2 Episode 18: Tempus Fugitive

  • Anachronism: In 1866, Marshal Kent refers to the visitors from the future as "weirdos." The word "weirdo" did not enter the English language until about 1955.

  • Goof: After Clark floats himself and Lois over the gate, it is obvious they step down off the lift before they start to walk into the field.

  • In the teaser, Tempus looks at a movie poster for a movie called The Penetrator, which reads across the top "Ranco Entertainment in Association with James Bagdonas". James Bagdonas is the director of this episode.

  • Tempus is the Latin word for "time". The title of this episode is likely a pun on the phrase "time flies", which in Latin would be tempus fugit.

  • The date of Clark's arrival on Earth as an infant in the spaceship is given as May 17th, 1966. In the previous episode, "Resurrection", the year of death of a character who just died is engraved in their tombstone as 1993. This makes Clark roughly 26 years old at the beginning of the series.

  • Season 2 Episode 17: Resurrection

  • At Mayson Drake's funeral, one of the headstones in the cemetery is prominently marked "Zarate", presumably a reference to visual effects supervisor Mark "Oso" Zarate.

  • Season 2 Episode 16: Lucky Leon

  • Goof: After Leon tells the Intergang member he will trick Superman into taking the shipment, the TV sets click off one by one. As they do, the one in the top left has a visible reflection of the boom-mic and boom in it.

  • Goof: When Superman turns off the ignition in Jimmy's car, the wheels should lock and the car should go into a skid. Even if the wheels were free to turn, momemtum would keep the car moving fast because the brakes were not working. Instead, the wheels keep turning while the car quickly slows down to a stop in front of the barricade, without any mechanical basis for doing so.

  • When Lois and Clark are having dinner on their first date, the background music is the 2nd movement of Beethoven's Piano Sonata No. 8 (Pathetique).

  • When Jimmy is arrested, his middle name is revealed to be Bartholomew.

  • Lois practices tae kwon do and is about to take her test to achieve brown belt status.

  • Nitpick: Near the end of the Episode, when Clark hears the bomb ticking in Mayson's car - he runs towards the car just as the bomb goes off - the camera is on him and you see no tear in his shirt - the camera turns towards Mayson then back to Clark - you can see that he now has a huge hole in the front of his shirt showing his Superman outfit - the camera then goes back to Mayson and just as Clark picks her up and holds her in his arms you now see that his shirt is no longer torn as much as it was in the previous scene - in fact Mayson has to pull open his shirt to reveal that she sees the Outfit - and to say to him that she now knows what he has been hiding.
