This was a great epsiode. It starts out where Superman saves a plane. Only thing is Clark is at the Daily Planet. Strange that is. Turns out there it now two Supermans. A clone made by Lex Luthor. He has all the powers but he has no restraint. One example being when he throws the crook in the van like 20 feet away. Superman never does that. Also the fact he trys to make out with Lois on her couch. Then Clark comes in and confronts him and he leaves. Lex only did it to kill the real Superman. But the clone is gonna die. He cant live. So he helps Superman by getting back his hair. Then have Superman destroy him so no one can clone him again. It was cool to see them battle. The clone was also funny. I liked when he jumped on Lex's back. Then he says tell me a bedtime story. This was a great episode and one of my favorites. I also like the reference to Bizzaro about how its bizzare. In the end, good episode.moreless

The interaction of Superman and the clone is so awesome!! Two Dean Cain on screen at the same time is soooo hot!! They are totally spunky together. Plus the way Clark gets so jealous about the way Lois is in love with is so funny!! Can't wait till those two get together!!!

    • Superman Clone: (to Lois as she takes a drink of champagne) You look really, really hot. Lois: (snorting champagne in surprise) Oh! Well, thanks. Edit
    • Jonathon: (referring to the clone) Clark, I think there's one other thing we ought to consider. Why is he here? What does he want? Martha: I saw this TV show once. There was a parallel universe... Clark: Please Mom, don't get all sci-fi on me! Edit
    • Lex: (telling the Superman clone a bedtime story) And then the wolf said to Little Red Riding Hood, 'Are you sure the policy is in your name?' Little Red Riding Hood said, 'Well yes, Grandma promised that when she passed away I would inherit everything.' And then the wolf said, 'Hm, let's go pay Grandma a visit.' And so Little Red Riding Hood took off her hood and her cape and she gave them to the wolf. Superman clone: And the wolf went through the forest to Grandmother's house and ate her! And then he and Red Riding Hood split the money. Edit

    ADD ALLUSIONS
    • Title The episode title "Vatman" is a nod to the other DC comic book hero Batman. Edit
    • Lois: I don't know... It's just bizarre! Superman had an "imperfect duplicate" Bizarro in the comics created by Lex Luthor with the same powers, first introduced in Action Comics No. 254 (July 1959.) Although in Silver Age Comics he was described as unliving matter animated by freak energy, in recent years Bizarro tends to be a flawed clone, such as the versions of him in Superman: The Animated Series and Smallville.
