When Lois gets up the morning after she is shot at, the audience can clearly see that she sleeps with the teddy bear Clark won her at the Smallville Corn Festival.
Goof: When Superman commands the miners to halt their operation in the Brazilian rain forest, he uses the Spanish word for stop, "alto". The official and most commonly spoken language in Brazil is Portuguese, not Spanish, so he should have said "parar".
Goof: After Winninger was killed and Lois is writing the story the first time you see her computer screen there is only one paragraph written. When Clark makes a comment about her story there are two paragraphs. Cut to Perry making a comment only one paragraph is written and finally cut back to screen and there are two paragraphs again.
Clark: Excuse me for caring!
Lois: I love it that you care.
Clark: You are really high maintenance, you know that?
Lois: But I'm worth it.
Superman: You better be careful, if the killer reads between the lines of your story and realizes that you were there...
Lois: You read my work?
Superman: Always.
Lois: Come on.
Clark: Where are we going?
Lois: I thought you might want to walk me home.
Clark: I thought you didn't need a bodyguard.
Lois: Who said anything about a bodyguard?
This is the episode 11 by production order.
Lois wakes up to the radio show of "Harold Stein" and his sidekick "Rowena", which is a nod to the famous morning show of Howard Stern, assisted by Robin Quivers.
Lois: Clark, you can drop the Kevin-Costner-protecting-Whitney-Houston bit; I think we're safe now.
Lois is referring to the 1992 film The Bodyguard, in which Kevin Costner stars as a bodyguard who becomes romantically involved with his client (Whitney Houston) while protecting from a stalker.
Mr Makeup says that Winninger's Rosencrantz was atrocious referring to both Shakespeare's play Hamlet and Tom Stoppard's play Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead.
Child 1: Or maybe they could shine a light in the sky so you know when you're needed.
Child 2: That's really stupid.
This is an obvious allusion to another famous superhero, Batman, who has exactly that - a light they shine in the sky so he knows when he's needed.
