      • From ITN Source:-

"And after Hyper's dramatic 'coming out' of last series, it look as though his life will run more smoothly this time round. But will Hyper find romance? Actor Connor Byrne says:

'Hyper does have a love interest this series, and it happens in a lovely way. It's very different and not in your face. There aren't really any issues to be dealt with over Hyper's sexuality this series - it's more about his colleagues reaction to what's going on in his love life as opposed to his private life itself.'

After his dramatic storyline last series, Connor found that he was a very recognisable face:

'Sometimes it's nice to be recognised, sometimes it's not. But mostly, people are polite and they are delighted to meet you. Fame is a powerful thing, you can get so lost in your own ego it's frightening. I always try to remember that it's not real - the whole thing is artificial. Thankfully, my family keep my feet firmly on the ground.' "
