  • Trivia

    • The monster that the Loonatics battled is modeled exactly off of the monster Fuz-Zs that Dr. Zane unleashed in "Attack of the Fuzz Balls"

    • When Rev leaves his house to battle a monster in Acmetropolis, Rip sees him a second later on the tv news which is filming the Loonatics still fighting the monster. But in the next scene, Rev says that he didn't arrive in time to help the Loonatics fight.

    • The beginning of the episode recycles an audio clip from a past episode,"The Comet Cometh". The clip of Cookie talking to delivery boy Rev is the same one used by Mr. Bronski to address the pizza delivery boy.

    • There seems to be some inconsistency concerning Roadrunners' speed. In "Sypher", when Rev lost his powers and became a normal roadrunner, he was not very fast and could only talk at a normal speed. Rev's non-powered parents, however, are able to run and talk far faster than Rev when he had lost his powers.

    • When Rev and Tech are building the Robo Amigo at Rev's house, Tech falls off a cliff ala Wile E. Coyote.

  • Allusions

    • The Loonatics were designed by Christian Tremblay and Yvon Tremblay, the ones who created and designed the SWAT Kats. You can see the fur around the Loonatics' cheeks, except Duck, being the same design and Razor (Jake Clawson) from SWAT Kats.

    • Rip being jealous of his brother Rev because his parents paid more attention to him is quite similar to Robert being jealous of Ray on Everybody loves Raymond.

    • Ralph: Sweet meep-meep!

When he said meep-meep, it was the Road Runner's trademark phrase when he's about to run.

    • Name: Astro Toys

The toy store's name might be a reference to "Astro Boy", the first anime.

    • Rip: Double the destruction, double the fun.

This is a play on of the Double-Mint gum jingle, that says "Double the pleasure, double the fun".

    • Bio-Tech Brain Parasite:

The way that the Bio-Tech Brain Parasite works, it's abilities are similiar to the Symbiote from Marvel Comics that created Spider-Man villain Venom.

    • The Runner's Table Manners

The way how Rev's parents ate pizza, by pecking at it at a rapid tempo, is exactly how the original Road Runner ate the 'bird seed traps' that Wile Coyote used in the Classic Looney Toon cartoons.

    • The Rev household contained a labeled box full of Acme products, the name of the company that supplied Wile E. Coyote and other Looney Tunes with various gadgets.

    • The chef of the pizza shop appears to be a descendent of the unnamed man who finds Michigan J. Frog in the Looney Tunes cartoons "One Froggy Evening" and "Another Froggy Evening".
