  • Fun to watch.

    7.5
Another one of these one and done episodes that slightly touch upon a concept and then quickly resolves it by the episode's ends. Here it seemed there was a lot of potential for a background story for Weathervane but other than a couple jealous spoofs, there wasn't much we know about her. The action was pretty decent where what seemed to be a hard enemy to defeat, in this situation the clouds, is easily destroyed once its weakness is discovered. What I really liked about this episode though are the characters, in fact they are eerily similar to the cast of Mummies Alive. They have their moments of kicks and giggles and even though Danger Duck is turning out to be a lot like Jar Jar Binks, he also has his moments too.moreless
  • An assistant to snobby Misty Breeze becomes the evil Weathervane and The Loonatics must stop her.

    8.3
This was a cool episode though Duck annoyed me a lot. Weathervane is an amazing villian and the action was really good. The comedy was just as good though in Duck's case it was more if an annoyance than comedy since I hate fanboys and fangirls. The ending was cool and poor Tech's new invention got destroyed I felt bad for the poor coyote. Also seeing Misty burried under Duck's stuff was hard not to laugh at and I love seeing something humiliating happen to snobby people. This episode totally rocked and has ultimatly become one of my favorites so far.moreless
  • One of the best for Wile E. Coyote and/or Road Runner fans!

    10
I think this is one of the best episodes for all the Coyote and Road Runner fans out there - who didn't cheer when Tech heroically pulled Rev from the tornado, swung down, and landed (on his feet!) safe and sound... and then what fangirl didn't swoon when he winked at the camera? (tee hee) I can't help but wonder what Wile E. would say, but I, as a fan of BOTH E. Coyotes, am very glad that they're finally friends (Rev also compliments Tech in several other episodes, saying how smart he is and what a role model he poses).moreless
  • Yeah...mentally special...

    6.0
This is probably the worst episode. Then again, I could be biased because I don't like Misty Breeze. Or Paula Haze. Or almost any LU girl in general.

ANYWAYS, Duck got fussed at again. She is being NOT fair to him, he's always getting Misted. Paula is a total bi-atch. She's exactly like Duck. They'd make a good couple...

ANYWAYS, Duck was water skiing. Cool. And then Rev turned back and said "YAY DUCK!" My fave line! I think he felt bad because Duck got ragged on earlier...

I don't like Misty... she's evil...DIE Misty Breeze DIE! AND DIE Paula Haze DIE!moreless
  • Heroes Against Natural Disasters

    10
When I watched this episode, it was totally awesome. One girl gets turned into a weather demon. She also morphed into a storm dragon. I really like dragons. They're one of my specialities on mythical creatures. I can hardly believe Danger Duck having to be the biggest fan of a blowhard weather commentator, Misty Breeze.

I got to hear some of the words Slam Tasmanian said. They weren't gibberish at all. I just watched the closed captions. I believe that he'll be able to speak clearly soon enough. It was really funny that Slam though Tech wanted him to push the button.

Natural Disasters should be conquered in order to stay alive. That's how I feel for the victims of Hurricane Katrina.moreless

Trivia, Notes, Quotes and Allusions

FILTER BY TYPE

  • TRIVIA (1)

    • Tech's latest gadget(s): A lighning rod built into his own jetpack.
The Porta-lab: A portable lab and aircraft (it gets destroyed when the volcano it's parked under explodes).

  • QUOTES (4)

  • NOTES (7)

  • ALLUSIONS (6)

    • Weathervane: Bring me Misty Breeze, or start building an ark!
This is a reference to the Bible, where Noah built an ark to escape the heavy floods due to the raining of forty nights and forty days.

    • Sound Effects:
During one part of the thunderstorm in the beginning when Paula Hayes begins her weather report, the old "Castle Thunder" sound effect can be heard. Hanna-Barbera and Disney used that thunder sound effect for many years (up until the 90s), and was also heard on the episode Acmegeddon (Part One), an episode of What's New, Scooby-Doo? entitled The Vampire Strikes Back and on various Krypto the Superdog and Shaggy and Scooby-Doo Get a Clue episodes.

    • There was a book called "Wuthering Heights". The title of the show is a play on the title of the book.

    • Weathervane's dragon form:

This was inspired by Disney's "Sleeping Beauty" in which Maieficent transforms into a dragon, only to be killed by Prince Phillip.

    • Weathervane's Origin:Weathervane's abilities and weather boadcaster origins are incredibly similar to another weather controlling supervillain from the show "The Mask", named the Tempest. Who was also an weatherman, prior to being humiliated by the Mask and transformed into a supervillain.

    • Old Woman: I used to know his Great, Great, Great Grandfather.

She was speaking, of course, about Ace's Great, Great, Great Grandfather, Bugs Bunny. Of course, if she said that she used to know Bugs, and she was still alive in the age of the Loonatics, she'd have to be Cryogenically frozen, ala Fry from Futurama.

RE: Or maybe Bugs Bunny was still alive when the old woman was a girl, after all, in Duck Dodgers episode Hooray for Hollywood Planet, in the credits appeared Bugs Bunny like the starring of the movie Duck Dodgers, and that was in the 24 1/2 century (around year 2550).
