To Itch His Own
AIRED:
Mighty Angelo is billed as "The World's Strongest Flea" by the urban circus at which he performs. Angelo decides to take a vacation on some quiet, country dog and hops into the fur of a shaggy pooch sleeping on a suburban estate. When a belligerent bulldog disturbs the pooch's- and Angelo's- sleep, Angelo decides to fight the bulldog. The bulldog is befuddled by the unseen powerhouse that drops bricks on his head, pulls him through a knothole in a fence, and whacks him on his head and backside with a mallet.

  • Awesome, one of those "unknown" for the most part and overlooked episodes...

This episode has to be one of the best dealing with fleas in the history of Merry Melodies and Looney Tunes put together!

In this episode, a flea (named Mighty Angelo) is a circus performer, and for good reason! He is the strongest flea! But he is bored and tired of working so hard, so he decides to take a vacation on a nice "country dog" somewhere. What he is about to find, is that this scrawny dog happens to be a pushover; pushed around by a nearby bully bulldog! Mighty Angelo is not about to take anyone's abuse, he came to get some peace and quiet; and he's sure to let the mean bulldog know. The bully dog has no idea what's hit him, and was not realizing that a tiny flea had been the one ruining all his plans. Impossible! A stupid scrawny dog all of a sudden defending itself?! Well, while still not convinced, the mean bulldog gets the beating of his life and finally realizes that karma is a horrible thing to deal with!moreless
