L'Or et Le Papier is a 50 minute soap opera under the direction of Jean
Beaudin and Nino Monti which was released September 10, 1990 in France.
It was written by Guy Fornier, Suzanne Aubry, Claire Chamarat and Jean
Chatenet and produced by Eural Films, France 3 (FR 3) and Les
Productions du Verseau. The drama series is about an ambitious father
who neglects his family in favor of his company, The Paper Source. Some
notable characters of the story were Raymond Laflamme (Raymond Buchard),
Vincent Chardigny (Jean Francois-Garreaud) and Andre Roberge (Yvan
Ponton). The soap opera was a huge hit in France and even gained an
award at the Gemeaux Awards for Best Direction under Jean Beaudin.
