Lord Arthur Savile's Crime

Show Summary

Lord Arthur Savile's Crime is 2011 short film adaptation of Oscar Wilde's classic short story about a groom who was told by a fortune-teller that he will soon kill someone. He is torn between pushing through with his wedding or postponing it so he will avoid tarnishing his bride's reputation. Wilde's short story, set in the late 19th century, has been adapted on film, TV, and theater several times in the past, including an episode in the 1958 TV series Suspicion. This version, the latest to date, was directed by Charles Di Meglio with Thomas Lajudie in the title role.
