This episode twists and turns before letting you know what it's really about. This is one of the things that I like about this series. It's about pretrial publicity, prejudices against women, and prejudices about political ambitions. But in the end justice rules when the judge overturns the jury's decision and grants a new trial because of the lack of evidence presented in the court room. Judge Brighton saw what was happening and didn't let any outside forces influence her. This is a very typical Loretta Young show. To me it's like going to the theatre to see the same actors perform, but it's always entertaining.
