Lost Girl's Season 2 Finale: The Final Set-up

"Flesh and Blood" had plenty of (hilarious) flaws, but I like my finales served with a healthy dose of anticipation for the next season and on that front, the episode really delivered.

  • Episode Summary

Concerned that Bo's plan is too risky, Trick offers Bo one more weapon for her own, and everyone else's, safety. Bo must lead her friends into battle ahead of schedule when her hand is forced by their enemy. A revelation from Dyson provides Bo with ammunition, but another's deceit threatens the mission. Prophecies come true… but at what cost?

    • Flesh and Blood

Flesh and Blood was a perfect episode and season finale of Lost Girl. I really enjoyed watching this episode because the story lines came together pretty well, there was lots of character and plot development, and the ending left me wanting to know more. It was awesome how every one came together to defeat the Garuda. Trick and Bo become closer as do Hale and Kenzi. There were many emotions, surprises and intrigues in this episode. I liked the ending after the Garuda was defeated and Bo still had a touch of darkness in her. The over all production of this episode and series was awesome. I really liked the music and it fit perfectly. I look forward to more episodes and seasons of Lost Girl!!!!!!!!!moreless
    • An ok finale, not great, not bad...

Ok, I like this show, and sometimes it's a guilty pleasure. Sometimes it's really fun and well written, and other times it's goofy and wraps things up too easily. I started out really liking Bo, but honestly, Kenzie outshines her and has pretty much since the beginning. I have a hard time believing that a human can outshine a freakin' succubus. I mean, she is supposed to be THE most compelling woman-PERIOD. Over time, it's made the show less convincing. I almost wish that Kesenia Solo was cast as Bo. At any rate...

The finale was ok, but there were so many episodes leading up to the final battle that it just didn't seem like enough of a battle. I'm not really buying the Hale's siren call can heal a wound thing. I mean, really? It just seems like a device that they use in a bind. His character is under utilized, as he is clearly a good actor. I wish they'd stop making him so cheesy. Remember he was in the race to be The Ash and almost won. His family is practically royalty.

Now what about Kenzie? I guess that was part of the cliffhanger, cause you know some weird stuff was going on with her at the end, and remember when she went to visit the Knor she knocked over that bottle...hmmm what was in there?

The Garuda died way too easily and the Nain Rouge predicted more upheavel and then they downgraded her to a silly little girl. Again, sometimes this show is a guilty pleasure, and these silly things are exactly why. I understand the show is meant to be both scary(ish) and funny, with romance...I just think the writers get lazy sometimes and take easy ways out. Good, but not great.moreless
    • Bo bo has claws !!

      great finale !

not too big a cliffhanger to be left with untill the new season,

dyson still hasn't told bo about his heart and his timing after having bo's blood injected was kinda funny in a puppy love way,

vex doesn't like his situation but is forced to give in, kensi gets injured in a rather pathetic way, and hale saves her, wasn't expecting hales sister to show up !

trick when captured by the garuda is shown the happenings of his wife's death and who had been responcible,

hints of a threeway with bo, dyson and lauren are bubbling under the surface...

bo saves trick after killing him nice move !moreless
