Who here thinks I should start adding "Richard Alpert" threads to this. I noticed a new one that started recently (clicky)

Wow, I didn't realize how popular Richard Alpert was. Granted, most of those threads are over a month old, but there ya go.

Wow.. that is fairly surprising.. but whenever there is a mystery the writers introduce that isn't addressed continuously throughout the episode the less intrepid fan immediately assumes they are the first and only ones to notice it...

It's also a matter of threads dropping off the first few pages after a while. People watch the episode weeks after it airs, and assume that nobody else has come to the same conclusion as they have.

actually...i don't care if there are duplicate threads!

don't get me wrong..i don't say duplicate thread creating is good - it is stupid! but i tolerate it! there's nothing i can do about it because i am not a chosen one! you know...i won't sacrifice myself for the greater good of a world without duplicate thread creaters!

the argument that a thread with new/relevant content has no "chance" to be read because it gets pushed down is just as stupid as duplicate thread creating itself! one push and it's up again...and if i come to the board i don't only read the first page..i do my investigation..if there's an interesting thread you don't have to be a genius to find it!

yeah i know the world would be way easier without idiots but we have to face the fact that they live amongst us!

Unfortunately, 99.9% of people who come here don't do their investigation. I just can't stand when people get all defensive when they get flamed for it, when all they had to do was use the handy search box at the top of the main forum page. Well, now they have absolutely no excuse. I've done all the work for them.

I already have. I've lowered that percentage from 99.9999% to 99.9%.

Fishbulb...another "walt and Michael" thread came up, but I see you replied to it instead of referring them to your other thread or telling them to search...I first searched "Walt" and it all came up - so I did refer them to do that. We need to keep reminding those who start new threads about using the "search" box. The duplicate thread thread IS working as I mentioned a few days ago since there were new topics coming out and new theories.

I don't think I had Michael and Walt threads up there, at least not ones relating to them leaving the Island. Since there are new ones popping up, I'll add them to the list.
