I have just painstakingly updated all of the links, changing them from bbCode to html. All the links should work. Also, I added a few more topics.

I don't. It just gives me a handy repository for all the links that I accrue.

Desmond leaves his first wife-to-be at the altar and joins a convent. He's kicked out, and meets Penelope Widmore. They get engaged. Penny's father tries to scare Desmond off. Eventually, he leaves her and joins the military. He's court martialled for some reason, and spends the next few years in jail. After he gets out, Mr. Widmore tries to bribe Desmond never to see his daughter again. Desmond decides to enter a race sponsored by Mr. Widmore to prove himself. While training, he meets Jack in Los Angeles, and buys a boat from Libby. During the race, he is shipwrecked on the Island.

If you need any clarifications, please let me know.

Newbies don't necessarily means noobs. This forum is a prime example of this. There are many users in the thousands (posts) who are big time noobs

I'm glad you looked here first. Hopefully you found what you were looking for.... after all, that's what the list is for.

Anyway, there's a big difference between being new to the forums and a n00b.
