That is so weird. I just thought of something that Jesus said, which, in a twisted way, we can apply to Ben. Jesus said:
"And other sheep I have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one fold, and one shepherd." (John 10:16, KJV).
In a way, there are two folds on the island; the Survivors, and the Others. Ben is a false shepherd, and he has his other fold, his other sheep, the Others, who blindly follow his lead.
His razor-sharp wit earns admiration from fans and foes alike.
He always hits what he's aiming at, but that doesn't mean that his target dies.

12. He knows how to create doubt in our minds, just like the serpent did in the garden of Eden. The way he elaborates things always make you wonder: "Ben is saying something true. Or is he? He's right, I sense the rescue will masacre many of them. Or not?"
Sorry, now re-reading it, I guess it fall into the manipulation already mentioned. False alarm.

| Lostifyed! A false shepherd indeed! I know they are different shows but Frank Black/Scully/Mulder would have a field day trying to pick the mind of someone like Ben! |
