Sorry, but have I missed something? I am an avid U.K. Lost fan & usually pay attention to what's going on in Lost, even if I don't understand w hat's going on! In episode 6 '316', towards the end of the episode, these two characters are introduced, Caesar speaks to Jack before they board the plane & Llana is escorting Sayid. It's obvious that they have an important role, but the way they were introduced was not v. good. It kept making me think that we had seen them before & were supposed to know who they were. Then in episode 7 'TL&DoJB', all of a sudden Casear is searching in one of the Dharma stations (not sure which one) as if he knows what he's searching for (although it's not obvious where they are at this point ) & in walks Llana, speaks to him as if she knows him & off they go to see Locke & it becomes obvious that the plane has 'crashed' & they are the 'survivors' of flight 316. Does anyone know what's going on with these two?

I must admit that the last couple of episodes have been a bit poor compared to previous episodes, it feels as if the are filler episodes. Anyway, can't wait for Sunday night to see episode 8 'Lafleur'.

We know that the women is escorting sayid on the plane. The thinking is that this to be the comparsion of kate being on the plane with the marshall. She works for ben probably maybe widmore. The idea is that widmore has someone on the plane probably ceasar maybe both of them. We've never seen either of them both we saw them on the plane. I thougth we'd seen Ceasar but turns out we haven't. They are on the smaller island the hydra station where the others keep kate, jack and sawyer. The plane is supposed to be3 on or near the runway. Ceasar seems to have taken charge, don't know why. Mean they find locke they've already been there for a while, not sure how long so they sort know each other.

I don't like how new characters have been getting introduced lately. First, Daniel, Charlotte, and Miles were introduced last season. What do we know about them other than what we saw in 'Confirmed Dead'? Miles is a ghost buster, Charlotte is an anthropologist who was born (and died) on the island, and Daniel is a physicist who does time travel experiments. We don't know sweet F all about their personal lives, other than that Daniel had a crush on Charlotte and his mother is Eloise Hawking. These characters need to have centric episodes so we can really sink our teeth into them. Ceaser and Ilana, I'm sorry to say, were introduced in a strange way. I hope we get to see their back stories sooner, not later, so that we can enjoy having new characters instead of wonder why the heck they are here in the first place.

I know most people hated Nikki and Paulo, but at least they had a wickedly entertaining centric episode not too long after they were introduced. Desmond had two whole hours before he even became a regular. Juliet also had two hours in the same season she became a regular, and of course 'Henry Gale' had a lot of time to win over our... well, not hearts, but he got us interested. We at least got to see Ana Lucia's story before she died; Same with Mr. Eko. The writers screwed up by not telling us Libby's story, and now we are left wondering if we will ever see it. I hope we at least get a Miles-centric and a Daniel-centric episode by this point LOL!

That's why i was opposed to shorter seasons, it means they can wrap up their main story but we won't get the back stories we need. A lot of people seemed to care when Charlotte died, but not me. I simply didn't care - two characters in one final scene together i had no idea who they really were (not like Desmond and Penny). All i knew was basically what was said in confirmed dead. Her character often confused me and was pretty much one dimensional (as with Miles). Obviously they have a story behind them but i'm afraid there isn't enough time to show it to us. They're introducing all these characters and we only have like twenty-something episodes left. Lately the show has came off too rushed and it's not the show i fell in love with anymore.

It's interesting nontheless - but the only characters i'm truly interested at this point are the main characters and not any outside characters. I liked Nikki and Paulo, nobody else did, and at least we know more about them than half the new characters on the series. Season 1-3 are the best, season four was good well paced, but this season is very rushed - it's like they're forcing it down our throats.

i think Caesar works for Widmore and Ilana is quiet possibly a real Marshall/Policewoman. I dont think they are working together because why would Caesar hide the gun from her ?

Yes, it's not like any other crash survivors have ever hidden anything from each other. They've always been truthful and honest and shared all information they had gathered with the rest of the group.
