  • Did its job, but still...

I'm not blaming LOST for anything.

They must be so busy considering they've finished both writing and filming. Phew! God, now that we have absolutely no reason to stall the season finale, lets waste both our, and the viewers time with a clip show!

Now seriously, who among you can honestly say you didn't feel a pang of anger when you learnt there would be another clip shoe after the promise of an uninterrupted viewing process had already been broken once? It did its job, and thank the lord for that, because if it had been crap ABC would have burned.

But you know what? We could have seen The Variable, but instead we saw irrelavent old information.

We could be waiting patiently for Follow the Leader, but instead, we are sitting in no more than constant anticipation for The Variable.

They have wasted my time. I am angry.

I want this review to be read by at least one LOST crew member:

    fu*k you.

I am 14, so this is coming from the "innocence of a child".

    fu*k you.moreless
  • Recap Only -- no new material

It's not always easy to keep the interwoven plot threads straignt in this series. Idf you're a bit confused or even missed one or two shows this will be a great help. Otherwise, it's not worth the time it takes to watch it. The TV.com Episode Summary above states that "current viewers will also find [this episode] illuminating - in discovering what happened to the Oceanic 6 and the remaining island survivors during the three years after Ben moved the island."

But this is not true. There is no new material relating to the remaining survivors. There is no new material period. It is just a remoreless
  • Did it's job well as a recap episode.

    I'll keep this short.

The clipshow recapped the events(mainly from O6's POV) from S3 finale to where we are now in S5. Although from the islander's POV and the Dharma story was cut short, it wasn't the theme of the recap episode.

I enjoyed Nestor Carbonell's (Richard) narration, and the continuity was great. Everything put in chronological order... it was just flowing really well.

Lost does recap shows just as well as original installments, in conclusion. I have seen every episode like 5 times, but I still enjoyed this.

I still enjoyed the pre-season 3 recap show more, that takes the cake; it was the first one to be narrated by Michael Emerson!moreless
  • Not bad

Compared to other clip shows, this one was preety good. I thought it was really clear the way they cleared things up for some people! It covered topics that were now more relevant to the storyline. For the first time, i actually sat and watched the full recap from begining to end. I never did that before with another one. I can't wait to see next week's episdoe though. It should be amazing as it is going to be the 100th episode of the series. I really hope no one dies next week! But, we do know someone will in the finale.moreless
  • The cool thing about this recap compared to the previous ones is this: It puts all the previous flash-forwards & actual island events in chronological order.

If you are a die-hard fan and are up on all of the events in Lost then you could probably pass on this but the cool thing about this recap compared to the previous ones is this: It puts all the previous flash-forwards and actual island events in chronological order. Which means that for the first time we can see all the flash-forwards from Season 4 & most of Season 5 in the order they were meant to be in. It's a good one time watch. I probably wouldn't want to watch it again in the future. As far as recaps go, I give it a 9.5moreless
