  • Overall, this episode is one of the best of the season: probably the most dramatic yet. Amongst all connections, Locke's and "Sawyer's" really stood out: and it's finally wrapped up.

Without a doubt, Locke and Sawyer are in the top 5 of the 'most interesting male characters in Lost' list.

Both characters have a very troubled past. Both of them can actually say that their life on the island is just better than the life waiting for them at home.

But other than that? They don't have anything else in common.

    Or...

Well, they do. Something pretty big. Or someone. Anthony Cooper, the Man from Tallahassee, Locke's father, turn out to be the father of James Ford aka Sawyer.

This particular episode is Locke centric, showing us flashbacks of what happened 8 days ago after he was introduced to the Man from Tallahassee. Locke is forced by Ben to kill his father to prove his commitment, however, he just can't do it. However, Ben's ultimate goal might just be to humiliate Locke infront of the others: make him look an ordinary person. Because Ben's leadership's in danger. Especially if a man who was paralyzed BEFORE can now walk, walks amongst the unsatsfied others.

Richard, who seems to be a member of the unsatisfied ones, lightens Locke up, and introduces him to a new idea, of how to take Cooper's life without killing him... but this one involves Sawyer...

The episode's building on drama: and just that. Mysteries...? You won't find many here. But that's not even a problem. The confrontation between Anthony and Sawyer was just... amazing. Amazing acting by Josh Holloway. Amazing.

Extremely great. Kudos to Damon Lindelof and Carlton Cuse.
