  • Trivia

  • Quotes

    • Art: Just because my name is Donovan does not make me the staff expert on the Irish problem.
Charlie: Art, I didn't say that. I'm sorry. I didn't mean to get your Irish up.

  • Notes

    • There are some indications that this episode was originally slated for a place earlier in the season. It clearly depicts a winter situation in California (characters wear thicker coats and moan about the weather) and one scene doesn't make sense after a the previous episode, Influence, in which Adam Wilson struggled with alcoholism. Here, Lou doesn't seem to have a problem with inviting Adam to a drinking night at McKenna's.

    • Fittingly this episode about the problems in Ulster was first broadcast on March 17, 1980, Saint Patrick's Day.

  • Allusions

    • Talking about the horrors of terrorism Donovan mentions Mountbatten. Lord Louis Mountbatten (1900-1979) was killed on August 27 1979 by the IRA who put a remote controlled bomb on his boat in Mullaghmore. He is was probably the most famous victim of IRA.
