When Rossi visits the doctor, he says he was sent by Carl Woodward. He used the same alias (a combination of Carl Bernstein and Bob Woodward) in Psych-Out, episode ten of the first season.
At the start of the new season the title credits have changed. The camera now pans around the newsroom and introduces the different characters.
Charlie: I figured a picture is worth a thousand words.
Lou: That's a hell of a thing to say in a room full of reporters.
Charlie: Can you hear them now wondering how the two of us got where we are since we're both so hopelessly square?
Billie: Straight.
Charlie: Eh?
Billie: They callus 'straight' Nobody says 'square' any more!
Rossi: (sitting in jail) The guys in here are all right. I already got offers of two armed robbers, one forger and one wino to co-author their memoirs.
