Lou: My daughter came to me once, scared that she was pregnant. And she was married at the time. I said it was okay.
Art: Okay, no more talk about women or sex or money. (after a long silence) Well, what do you guys think? Are the Chinese going to develop a taste for Coca Cola or are there just too many fundamental cultural differences?
Charlie: You want to give advice? You get out of the news business, get yourself a column. Because most of the time on this side, what you get to write about are people's mistakes. And sometimes they're mistakes that ruin their lives.
Billie: Yeah.
Charlie: The only good about it is that, if you write clearly enough, you might keep someone from doing the same thing.
Billie: Maybe.
Charlie: I don't know. That 'maybe' has always been enough for me.
