Just when you think nothing new can be said about weird dates, along comes Louis C.K. with the most hilariously awful date I may have ever seen on T.V. Dolores, Dolores... what a treat.
The following opinion is given with all due respect, and is meant to be helpful: If you watch this episode and come away concerned with the acoustics of the Comedy Cellar, where C.K. performs, maybe Louie just isn't for you. Or maybe you have become jaded to televised comedy in general?moreless
What on earth? I get that people love Louie's dark and odd style of humor, but sometimes he thinks it is enough to carry an episode when it really is not in most cases, just witness tonight's episode. The idea of a bum randomly attacking him was supposed to generate the biggest laughs of the show, but instead it just generated an awkward stare from me. And he shouldn't film anymore stand-up scenes in whatever auditorium he was in tonight. The sound quality got all messed up. If they insist on being low budget stick to somewhere where the acoustics will work.moreless
