Love, American Style in general is so funny, you have to be sure not to be eating anything you could choke on while you watch it.

The "Love And The Doorknob" sketch is so hysterical, my wife and I had to pause the DVD just to catch our breath. At first, it may seem just a little silly, but about 20% of the way in, the groom makes a really stupid decision to find out if a doorknob will fit into his mouth and then the laughs run over the top.

Buy, rent or stream the show if you can because if you don't, you will certainly miss truly great comedy from an era where TV was actually entertaining. I bought the first DVD and anxiously await the arrival of the second. Happy watching!
