Lucifer cancelled.
spudchick

I'll tell you why the ratings sucked. Not enough Tom Ellis or his supernatural cohorts, too much time spent with pointless characters like the ex-husband, and an artificially, pointlessly delayed revelation of the truth to Chloe, who was maybe not the best choice to be a love interest for Ellis in the first place (purely...

Lucifer Series Premiere Review: To Hell and Back (and Probably Back Again)
Fox's new forced procedural is mostly lame but it has its moments thanks to its devilishly charming star.

Review: "#TeamLucifer" - The Devil made me do it!
OMG, but this was a freakin' fantastic episode! "A priest walks into a bar" was the best episode of this season, until now, this episode is even better!

As I keep repeating, Lucifer is the best damn show to come out of 2016, as far as I'm concerned.

But this very specific episode, it is a milestone, this is it! this is what we want, finally (or what I want)

Some real action and some real honest moments from the characters in their best and worse of forms.

Clearly, you see Lucifer as a victim of circumstances. It's a tragic twist, all-in-all, He's the Devil, not by choice, not even by design, but because of a mistake. He's been paying for it, forever.

He wants a chance for a new beginning but he just can't get away from it all and his laments are sincere ...

Review: "St. Lucifer" - The Achilles Heel Puzzle Solution
Love me some Lucifer, by far, the best show to come out of year 2015.

Sad to see that it's inching towards its season finale, but grateful that there will be a second season!

That was some "helluva" good news! Let's hope it gets the full TV season treatment of 22 episodes.

Let's review this episode!

Like many episodes which have come to past the procedural plot is used as a way for Lucifer to gain new experiences in the art of being "human..ized..ish" while he keeps enjoying his earthly permanent vacation... as far as he knows.

In this regard, Lucifer is trying deal with the concept of goodness and how it feels for him.

Not surprisingly, he's enjoying goodness in the way a kid enjoys a new toy. Go figure!

He's not getting the whole purpose behind doing good, because he's ...

Review: "Take Me Back to Hell" - Expect the Unexpected and Season 1 Recap
This review has 2 parts.

Part 1 - The episode review "Expected the Unexpected"
Part 2 - Season 1 Recap

Part 1 - The episode review "Expected the Unexpected"

What a nice little finale.

Whatever I expected from this episode, I can tell you, most of it, never came to pass.

Seriously! And I'm not bitching here, not complaining, just pretty much amazed at how wrong I could have been about the ending of this episode.

Here's what I expected:

1) a cliffhanger ending (which did happen, but not because of Malcolm which is what I expected.)
2) Dan and Chloe comparing notes about Lucifer (nope, only Malcolm and the initial shooting of said Malcolm)
3) Dan (Detective Douche) dead
4) Mazikeen on the warpath over Trixie's abduction

And what happened instead was (in no particular order):

1) Dan in prison after confessing to taking evidence "the gun" from the ...

A Priest walks into a Bar.. getting to the gist of it
While I really enjoy this show, this particular episode appealed to me in that it finally seems to get Lucifer's number. He's growing. Doesn't matter how old he is, I think that in his role as the Devil and I will bet that any of the Angels or Demons out there, while in their respective domains of eternal life, they don't grow in wisdom.

Perhaps being away from those areas, being on Earth, experiencing life, mortality and adversity is the way to inner growth.

I'm still on the fence about Lucifer not having his powers. I think that somehow, only Chloe has the power to hurt him. And again, whatever reasons that is, well, why would his powers be only half-baked. Makes no sense.

The relationship between Lucifer and the Priest was really great work in acting. Lucifer couldn't help but become fond of ...Read more

Lucifer, wouldn't be Lucifer if he didn't end up in trouble. Trouble being a shoot-out with him and a girl, Lux, he met in a nightclub involved.

The same girl instead of letting him go to waste, guides him into being a consultant for the police force. Trying to do do some "Satanic good" he uses his abilities as a police consultant to strike at criminals with the law and justice on his side.
