The acting is good. The soundtrack is oddly arbitrary. I just don't know why I would want to watch a bunch of degenerate gamblers in one story line, the trials and tribulations of jockeys (played as if they are war vets or something) in another story line, and the convoluted backroom dealings of horse racing in the main story line.
I'll watch one more episode. But they if they can't produce a likeable character by then, they will at least need an interesting one. The most important thing the show needs, though, is a point. What is the point? Why am I watching? What am I watching?moreless
