Lucy Sullivan is Getting Married

Megan's reunion with her mother is jeopardized by some shocking news; Hetty's attempts to get back together with Richard are thwarted when she discovers he has another girlfriend; Karen receives an unexpected promotion and Lucy and Daniel get bad news with just four days to go to their wedding.

Charlotte learns an important fact about Leo, while Lucy learns important things about her parents and her childhood.

Lucy and Daniel's marriage preparations are blossoming, but they have yet to break the news to Connie. Meanwhile, Megan's efforts to trace her mother pay off and Charlotte sees more of Leo, but still has not found out what his big secret is.

Mrs. Nolan's predictions seem to be coming true as Lucy and Daniel dread Karen finding out about their romance, but she is more interested in Charlotte's ex. In the meantime, Charlotte is more interested in an older man. Megan is pursued by a terrifying loan shark.

Hetty shocks Richard by calling off their long-planned wedding, while Karen and Charlotte go on a dubious double date. Meanwhile, Lucy's troubles with a boring cinema buff end when she bumps into Daniel and wonders if he is Mr. Right after all.

Lucy has just vowed that she will not pursue a romance with Daniel, but faces harsh moments of truth when Jamsie turns nasty and Gus turns up again.

Connie and Charlotte become bosom buddies, while Lucy moves back home to look after her Dad. In the meantime, Megan's attempt to trace her mother ends in disappointment.

Lucy decides to ask Daniel for advice, which in turn angers Karen. Also, her blind date is a disaster and then her mother calls her with some bad news.

Soon secret relationships are blossoming between Hetty and Mr. Compton, Connie and Ken, and Megan and Gus, but the girls in the flat are fed up with romance.

Simon splits up with Charlotte, and Daniel falls out with Karen after meeting her parents in Scotland. Although Lucy and Gus appear settled. Then, Gus disappears, and so the girls plan an evening out together.

Lucy is excited that Gus has appeared again, and he is just in time as the flat is burgled. However, soon Daniel decides to air his feelings about Gus and Lucy vows that she will never speak to her oldest friend again.

All the girls have boyfriends, so Karen decides to throw a dinner party. However, it still ends in disaster as Lucy quickly blurts out some truths to Charlotte before she hears some devestating news about Gus.

Lucy has still heard nothing from Gus, until he suddenly shows up in the middle of the night and soon sweet talks her into believing his latest sob story.

Handsome Gus continues to charm Lucy, claiming that the girl he appeared to be with at the party was merely his cousin. Karen hooks up with Lucy's good friend Daniel. At the office, Megan retaliates after Ivor makes a clumsy pass at Hetty.

Lucy decides it's time to begin her search for Mr. Right, moving out of her parents' home and into a London flat shared with Karen and Charlotte.
